Our stay at Brunton Boatyard was good overall — the property is well maintained, and the view of Cochin Port is truly amazing. However, for the ₹25,000 per night tariff, I expected a more premium experience. There was no valet service available, which was surprising for a hotel in this price range. We had to self-park, though the parking area wasn’t too far from the reception. The Fort Kochi–Vypin ferry jetty is very close to the hotel, which is convenient but also means frequent ferry horn sounds and occasional smoke smell near the garden and balcony. The hot-water mixer wasn’t functioning properly, and the bathroom water pressure was quite low. Dinner was underwhelming in taste and didn’t quite meet expectations given the high charges. The property seems more geared toward foreign tourists. The location in the heart of Fort Kochi is excellent, but the hotel area itself is quite small — not much to explore after a short stroll. Breakfast spread was good and enjoyable. The complimentary boat ride to Cochin Port was a pleasant surprise and added charm to the experience. The lady assisting during check-in and check-out was very courteous and professional, which left a good impression. However, when we checked out, our car was found in a poor state with bird droppings all over, including the windshield, and no staff offered to clean or assist, which was disappointing. Overall, an average stay with a few memorable moments but definite scope for improvement.

Stay was awesome that too with a Seaview. Similar pricing with other 5 star hotels. Good green earth initiative(A-Z). I should say the food is really good, almost all items. Pool is clean. Cruise was also good.

coupleNot Worth!!! Ні. I stayed in Brunton Boatyard, Kochi (Checkin : 25th Sep 2024, Checkout 26th Sep 2024). 1.Brunton Boatyard does not provide buffet breakfast. 2. Very very limited options in à la carte breakfast 3. à la carte breakfast took so much time to come!!! Very slow service... 4.The staff is untrained or maybe is new. 5. I am a pure vegetarian and despite informing the hotel's front desk well in advance I was served non veg food in high tea!!!! 6. Time gap between High Tea and complimentary hotel Sunset cruise is too less. You won't get time to enjoy your high tea... 8. Hotel was next to water metro jetty which was so disturbing. I could listen to loud hooter of ferries and ships right in the middle of the night!!! Will never go to Brunton Botyard neither will I suggest anyone to go there.

Awesome location and facility. Nice view of kochi bay area from the room and property. Very cordial staff. New year eve dinner was just fabulous. New year eve program mixed traditional kerala art forms with dj which was very nice. Breakfast was also very nice. The antique furniture and other items gives a very good feel about kochi's history.

familyExcellent old world colonial charm. The property is gorgeous and extremely well maintained. Service is very good and the food and restaurants have a great mix of continental fusion as well as local food. Ideal location in fort kochi a short drive away from the jewish settlement area. The hotel has complimentary high tea in the evening from 5pm onward s followed by a complimentary 1 hour sunset cruise on a boat around kochi harbour. The rooms are big and spacious with a nice sit out facing the harbour. The amenities are fresh tea and coffee with a tea pot and french press in the room and the coffee / tea are bottled. Its indeed refreshing to see a hotel stocking good quality tea and coffee in room instead of sachets and tea bags. Well done!

coupleIt is a good property and centrally located in fort kochi. The staff is good, but we had problems with opening our door. They did help when we notified them. The breakfast is good, but dinner options are limited. However, we liked this property because of the historical set-up and also their evening tea and snacks. They also have a free cruise in the evening, which is enjoyable.
