Aspen Riverside Resort

Overall a good stay, some good things and some not so good things. Room and washrooms were clean. The garden area was nice. During our stay, pool was temporarily in-operational. There was a way to go to river side, and river side area was a major plus point, very serene (but you can’t go there at night, because of safety issues like animal). However, the only thing that was not good, was the path to entrance , you have to park the car at a dhaba on the road (although it’s safe) but the steep and broken muddy slope was very poor. But once you get down, it’s good.

I would like to highlight several concerns we faced during our stay, right from the moment of arrival: 1. Accessibility Issues: We were informed in advance that the resort required an 80-meter walk. However, the actual path was steep and risky, especially for children. No support such as walking aids ( stick or rope) 2. Reception Conditions: After the difficult trek, we arrived at the reception area and we found that  there was no air conditioning or even a fan, making it extremely uncomfortable in the summer heat. A wall fan was there at reception staff counter for their convenience and nothing for guests. 3. Air Conditioning and Staff Behavior: The AC in our room was not functioning. When we contacted the manager listed on Google, he responded very rudely, comparing the issue to a technical fault that could cause a plane crash and dismissively told us to "manage." When we escalated the issue to the on-site manager, we received no meaningful support. Adding to this, due to lack of network and internet connectivity, we were unable to contact MakeMyTrip for assistance. 4. Hi-Tea Charges: Our package included a “hi-tea,” but we were charged for it when we ordered. 5. Power Outages: There was no electricity until 5:23 PM on the day of check-in, and it remained unstable until around 7:30 PM. This added to our discomfort in the peak summer heat. 6. Food & Weather: The only positives during the stay were the food (breakfast and dinner, which were part of the package) 7. Room Service Delays: On both days, room service took up to two hours to deliver lunch and evening snacks. 8. Housekeeping Delays: I requested cleaning services at 7:30 AM on the second day, but they were not addressed until after 3:00 PM. 9. Unclean Pool: Despite requesting it, the swimming pool was not cleaned, even though electricity was restored later that day. Also there were street dogs and cows and buffaloes near the pool area by which children got scared.

The resort was under renovation so there was- Frequent electricity cut Water shortage Half of the food items were not available Asked us to change room twice if they did not have bandwidth, they shouldn't have taken booking.

Location is best. Enjoy swimming pool and most importantly food taste was best

The stay was nice. Quiet and peaceful place. Food was awesome. A good place to spend a weekend getaway.

The stay was good with staff courteous and helpful in all ways. Food is good and preference is asked on food. Can improve a bit on the hygiene part in the washroom part where the washroom mat and cleanliness can be looked. 5

Everything was good. The place was so adventurous and specially the food they offered us was ultimate.

The trip was terrible, the hotel was under construction, the rooms were uncleaned, mosquitoes and insects all around even in the rooms too. Shower was not working properly. Dust all around. No parking facility, no workstation as mentioned in the features, such a terrible experience. Request mm t to refund my amount.

*Amazing time at Aspen camp* We planned a trip to Rishikesh in the month of Sep and its so serene and green at this time of the year. The best part about this property is being right on the river bank, the view of the river from pool is mesmerising. We stayed in luxury cottage and they are lovely in terms of aesthetics. Location is another 10/10 and so is the staff and food arrangements. The chef respected our taste habits and we had a variety of options to choose from. Though driving in rains was a bit of a challenge but this vacation was worthy because of the impeccable services and hospitality at this resort.

*best property and rooms* one of the best properties that we have stayed in rishikesh. Excellent location and the rooms have the best views of the mountain and river, the food that was served had a variety of options with a great taste. We enjoyed the evening music and snack setup and the games they offer within the property, i highly recommend this property for a comfortable family stay in the nature. Must visit.

My experience with my partner was not at all good, we didn’t feel safe and the property clearly states they don’t allow single males but in the evening there were multiple men continuously drinking and shouting in main lawn area till 4 in the morning. And though we booked upgraded category but when we arrived room was not clean and the toilet was in bad state. I would never recommend anyone to stay there.

Entrance is not at all there, in the night we had to walk on the drainage wall. Food is good, staff is good. Orange elert was announced by dm, as we came to know we vacated the place after first day breakfast time. Makemy trip should be deligent to inform travellers of danger alerts issued by state government. Staff was very good.

I didn't stay there because the make my trip is a lair company. I have booked this stay from shivpuri near trance ganga resort and this was showing me the stay is 4. 5 km away. But in actually the stay was 15 km away and in that moment in night we didn't go to the hotel. I want my refund. And that time no one was picking my call either from make my trip or from hotel

We did not stay as staff was extremely poor and had altercation with the staff and on, there was dirty room when i visited to see them and immediately we left, we have made a video of aspen and staff, they were abusing us, i was with my family mother, motherin law, wife and children, kindly refund my entire money and call asap me as we were harssed.

The approaching path to this resort was literally horrible. No lights, no stairs, no side railing nothing. Anyone checking in during dark hours has 50-50 chance to either reach down to resort fine or just directly roll through the mountains. When i asked owner why he didn't even put a light at least, he laughed at me saying - "well, that's the reason we call it adventure resort, while in reality, this was just a resort with tasty food & swimming pool. By no means its an adventure resort. Half of the lights inside resort were broken. No bone fire, and cows were roaming all over the place. The stitching & zip of most of the tents were broken and they somehow fixed it with safety pins. Washroom was very very small - as compared to my other similar tent experiences. Food was tasty indeed so kudos to chef. However they served breakfast very late. Their time 8. 30 am is already late considering remote location, but they were not ready to serve at that time either. And somehow served around 8. 55 am when bunch of other guests gathered around. Manager did one more funny thing. As soon as i went to their restaurent area for breakfast, owner didn't even ask me or wait for me to talk to him, and assumed i checked out and captured my tent for cleaning etc. When i came back after breakfast to freshen up, he didn't allow me to use my tent around 9. 15 am and asked me to use common washroom which was i'm horrible condition and no running water.

The only good thing was the location. The tents were of poor quality. There was ac but since the tents were not properly insulated, it was not cooling properly. There were frogs and moths inside the tent in the night. The acs were not working for like 2 hours in the night. Food, though was okay, was very pricy. There's no parking as being advertised on the page. Vehicle is parked like 200 mtrs away on raod. Definitely not for the elderly people as there's a steep trek to reach the camps. All in all, not so good experience.

Average stay, room is hot although ac running from hours, no menu card you gave to give 850/person for dinner/bf, ac not working, don’t visit in summer arrangement is not good, no room service
