worst experience at zostel

the worst experience one can imagine at the hostel while also paying the amount you would pay for the hotel and solo room. I came with the intention of meeting some good people and also making friends as I was travelling solo. but the series of events made sure that I won't book any stay of mine with zostel from now onwards. on the first day itself one person came and woke me up stating that it was his bed and he has been staying there for 3 days. the same bed I was assigned by receptionist when I can. now it is 2 AM in the morning and I am in the reception finding any guy to resolve this and nothing happened. and end up sleeping on the upper bunk just because I had my day planned and need to get up at 5 AM the next day. I was out all the day when I came back the next day at the hostel I informed about the situation i faced to the receptionist still no proper answer and I asked for a particular bed number or even a room change. he refused all of that and I was given 2 number bed "a upper bunk bed" where one lower bed was empty still i got the upper bunk bed. I didn't tell him anything because I don't like to confront him I accepted the situation. with this he also give me assurance that I won't be distributed by anyone. still alas I got disturbed at the night just because the person on the lower deck got his some item under the bunk and he literally moved the whole bunk just to find that thing at night. which again disturbed my sleep and this time by not thinking much and escalating this I just slept again. such a worst experience.

The experience at zostel was very nice. The host arranged everything and also helped find places and friends in this new place. They organised a small intro session by inviting all inmates, that went into a wonderful session.

experience for the stay is awesome host are customer friendly and they purely where to explore in a short period of time. but bathroom cleaning on certain rooms needs to take care little bit more . but overall good in budget stay.
