No hot water , No gyser , Spiders and insects in room, light passing through curtains , TV not working , No power backup in toilet and sockets 8 to 12 hour electric cut with no power in sockets and toilet. Bad quality of food and kitchen timings from 8 to 10 AM and 5PM to 7:30 only else they will refuse order. Most items in menu not available.. we ordered Cheese grilled sandwich, whi h only had onions and mayonese in it.

location is good and the view also is good but food was not that great.

do not go by picture,very dirty and smelly rooms with full of spiders on bed and every where save your self they don't even have a hot water at this price, terrible experience 😔

Location is lovely facing mountains. Host is sweet. Food options are limited. You get full network coverage and plan workation.

I stayed in the Attic room (best room for hill view and no stairs) at Zostel Ramgarh for a week in October, and it was a fantastic experience. The weather was chilled and perfect, and all the rooms offered breathtaking views of the surrounding hills—ideal for unwinding with friends. Thanks to the property host. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch, making our stay very comfortable. However, for those planning a workation, the internet and electricity could be inconsistent at times. While it didn’t affect our overall enjoyment, it might be a slight concern for those needing reliable connectivity. Also, main attractions like Nainital, Bhimtal, etc are almost an hour drive away. Overall, Zostel Ramgarh is an excellent choice for a peaceful escape, especially if you’re there to relax and take in the stunning views.

The property was nice but the service with respect to food and cleanliness is awful. Staff’s behaviour and service was okay. Especially food was unhygienic and had hair in it.

Everything was very good but the snacks was just ok not so good but the stay was very good staff was very cooperative chetan behaviour was very good will recommend this place to everyone only the food was just soo sooo

Stay is good. Madhouse being outside is scary at night. Pnly book if you are travel-ling by your own vehicle as it is located in interiors and transportation will be a challenge

The location is very much off the main roads and in interior. Suggestion is that people with own vehicles can prefer.

It was terrible. We booked for a day in zostel ramgarh. And before booking, we called and very clearly mentioned that we will be coming now, and that person on the phone did not for even once say that the place is having a power cut. Eventually when we finished our booking, he then told us to come around evening, because there was this storm yesterday and the power supply will be restored by then. When we said why he didn't inform earlier, he was really rude about that. And obviously the power didn't get fixed in a whole day, forget evening. We had to suffer through that. And there was no storm that supposed yesterday, it was 2 days back. Other resorts in ramgarh had a power supply. Also he compensated this by throwing some complementary breakfast. Not even this, the room was not clean. We booked a deluxe quadruple room for 2 people. One bed was half clean, the other was full of other people's hair and staff, it was just disgusting. Dustbin in the room was overflowing. Pipe of the wash basin was detached after 2 uses just like that. Shower-handle came apart just on the first touch!Door was not getting locked properly. It was a nightmarish situation all in all. Only good thing was the view. But you can get this view from many other cottages nearby. Ramgarh will be a very nice place to enjoy your holidays, just don't go here.

My recent stay at zostel homes was an absolute delight. Nestled amid-st stunning greenery and majestic mountains, the property offered a welcome escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Waking up to breathtaking sunrises and enjoying mesmerizing sunsets from our private balcony was a truly magical experience. The vastness of the property itself was impressive, boasting not only aesthetic appeal but also a dedicated play area for children. Whether you're seeking relaxation or family fun, this place caters to all. But the true highlight of my stay was the food. Every meal, from beverages to main courses, was prepared with a delightful homemade touch. The flavors were simply amazing, and i couldn't get enough! a big shoutout goes to chetan, the caretaker, and his incredible team for their dedication to making our culinary experience exceptional. The staff as a whole deserves immense praise. Their cordiality and attentiveness were unmatched. They were always eager to assist and ensured our every need was met with a smile. Their service truly elevated the entire experience. The tranquility and relaxation i found during my three-day stay were truly unmatched. If you're seeking a break amid-st the mountains, with stunning views, delicious food, and impeccable service, look no further than zostel homes, ramgarh. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and can't wait for my next visit!

Excellent location with serene surroundings, great food, great staff who are always eager to help, they even arranged live music which was simply awesome, all in all a full value for money stay, keep up the good work @team at zostel ramgarh

1. The property is great but the property manager, mr. Chetan doesn't know how to manage the vibe of the property. A group of 3-4 guests played and loud music in the common area straight for 2 hours. It disturbed other guests a lot and we complained also to the manager but nothing happened. It disturbed the serenity of the place. Ramgarh is supposed to be an offbeat and calm destination but this cheapskate mistake of property manager ruined the experience for 1 night. 2. There are no tea, coffee, or milk sachets in the rooms. There is a kettle though. So in case you are an early riser and want to enjoy a cup of tea amid-st the green hills, please carry your own tea coffee kits. 3. There is a guy who is in charge of room service. He is an amazing guy! he really uplifts the service levels and provides superb support with everything at property.

There were many cons that spoiled the whole point of choosing this stay. After a good half an hour of bargaining, the cab dropped us to this location in rupees at 11-11:30 am. Upon reaching the property there was no staff to attend us, it took us around 10 minutes to find the caretaker mr abhishek and the first thing he said was ‘it will be 500 for an early check-in’. Then we carried our luggage followed him to a room that appeared as if it hadn’t been cleaned for many days, they had not even bothered to change the bedsheet. And the two carpets lying in the room were very dirty along with the old furniture & cupboards they had provided. There were spiders and spiderwebs in the room and bathroom. The wall had seepage and the paint was worn off on one of the walls. There were no toiletries and on repeatedly asking them they managed to give us two very small soaps at 8 pm in the night. There was a water cut in the morning when i tried taking a bath so there was only boiling hot water for use and no water for the toilet. The food was good in taste. And when we tried to sit in their common area there was a big pile lying there and the area smelled very bad. When we asked mr abhishek about the bornefire he said it won’t be provided as there are not enough guests. Mind you there were at-least 10 people at the property that i knew of. They don’t have any facility of vehicles. The number he provided for a return ride to the city centre tried to rip us off at a price of. Please don’t go by the pictures that have provided for the property. The caretaker was very rude and he acted as if we were lodging there for free. They were short staffed. I could only see one person beside mr abhishek there. So in total we end up spending from the room around 2-3 k for the cab ride to get there and back to city centre plus the food bill which was fine.

Our stay in zostel ramgarh was good. It’s not like normal zostel because it only have private rooms and not dormitory. As a result, you will have overall experience like any other normal hotel and not very live. The staff is helpful but food is not good. Overall its a decent stay. Thanks

Place is beautiful and has serene views and calm vibes. However, the property's facilities were not as promised. The wifi didn't work and the tv never got connected. There were power issues with no back-up and also the lights in the room were not functioning.
