Worst experience in Victoria Hotel

The hotel looks appealing from the outside, but the rooms are in extremely poor condition. Basic hygiene is not maintained — the beds are stained, the toilets are worse than a public restroom, and the rooms are filthy. I had booked this place for a short layover after landing in Kolkata but had to leave within two hours due to the unacceptable condition of the room. Overall, it was a terrible experience. You can easily find much better options in the same tariff. Definitely not recommended for anyone seeking a decent stay.

Terrible Stay

It was a terrible experience. The room that we booked was too small for two adults to stay. Then they have upgrade to another room which is also not in a very good condition, in terms of cleanliness. The bed sheet and bathroom are all dirty. And surprisingly they have also charged an additional amount for this room in spite of knowing all these facts. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience.

The Property was Ok... On the first day , they allot me a Room which is very small in size. They changed the room on the 2nd day on my request and their availability. The buffet breakfast spread was OK. They can improve on this. The property is near the airport which is the biggest advantage. It is also surrounded by some well known restaurants and eateries. The hotel staff is courteous and ready to help . Overall a decent experience. I would like to recommend this property to other travellers. Thanks , Uddeepan Chatterjee
