TTDC Hotel TamilNadu - Kanniyakumari

Excellent. Recently renovated property. Good Break fast Served. Very close to the beach.

hotel premise is very good but the hotel needs renovation all things are old even hot water gyser was not available. hot water was provided in bucket

Room was clean and neat ..but hot water facility missing ...food taste super ..beach view also excellent ..maintaing room boys are good .. Ac not work .pls improve that ..otherwise all are v good feel..

Very poor condition of bathroom, unimaginable. No maintenance at all.dirty tiles, stained with dirty corners. No food after 9.30 pm. We reached there at 9.45 after travelling long distance. The restaurant staffs did not help to get any food for the night. Bedroom was just ok

The property is fantastic, quite nicely locayed. All major tourists spot are within 10 minutes walk. Very good, sincere, supportive staff. Hot water is minor issue, being taken care of.

Nice location. Safe for the family. Nice food. Rooms are good. Wifi available. No swimming pool.

Very Disappointing Stay We booked two rooms for three people each, and both already had extra beds included in the booking we fully paid for. But during checkout, the hotel still demanded extra payment.

We booked 2 rooms for 5 people through MMT . On reaching there tired , the receptionist took extraordinary time for alloting the rooms . And then 2 rooms were allotted on two different sides ( I.e Room 1 and Room 5) even after knowing fully that any family would want two rooms together; when we requested to give two rooms together his condescending remark was “you get what you pay for “ after some argument though other room was allotted . However for MMT booking they make sure that we get the worst of rooms . One room ( room 1) which was allotted initially did not have any open balcony and the balcony was facing another wall . The extra bed that they provided was simply thrown on floor and they did not even make that and one would have to literally sleep on the floor , the foam was too dirty and would make you puke if you see that without the bedsheet . If you expect that it is state owned hotel( TTDC) and you get same kind of service that you get in KTDC hotels ( since many guests come from kerala ) , you are absolutely wrong . The receptionists are condescending and not well behaved . Location is good . But it is not a private beach hotel . And the beach nearby is not the one where you can go and play in water . There are shops around . So beach access is as good as any other decent hotel provides in Kanyakumari . In dinner they would have only 2-3 items and that too of not very tasty type , you get better sambhar in any shop in Kashmir than in this hotel in Kanyakumari . Rooms are big and spacious . Bathrooms were clean . If you are on ground floor don’t expect much from balcony since there will be trash immediately outside the balcony. Bottom line 1) Location 10/10: any decent hotel will get the same location review 2) Behaviour of people : 0/10 3) Restaurant : 2/10 4) Overall property space :10/10 5) Maintenance of property :2/10

Location is excellent but service & no room amenities like hot water door mats available.

A comfortable stay with strategic location beach side access with balcony room sea facing. Neatly maintained rooms ,helpful front desk. Restaurant provides hygiene food reasonably good service for in-house . Suggest for to be provided with hot water kettle and tea bags.

One of the best locations. Main attractions are in walkable distance. Value for money.

The property is located very close to Rameshwaram temple. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Staff is courteous and well informed. On the flip side, no restaurant which was already mentioned at the time of booking. Car Parking although spacious is located on the opposite side of road which may be a concern in rains.

The property is really good and scenic however property maintenance is not upto mark. Several times in a day there was load shedding and the toilet flush wasn’t working properly. Also, they will only give you basic amenities when you ask for it and service was very late. Like water will only be given when you ask for it and very late. One good thing was that they let us overstay upto 4-5 hours according to our train time

Location is good. Except the location, food, amenities, cleanliness, services are pathetic.

Property location was good.Had direct access to beach road. Food was decent for breakfast and the staff were very prompt in services.

We stayed at TTDC Hotel Tamilnadu in Kanyakumari for 2 days. Best thing about the hotel is its location which is right in front of the beach and all the attractions such as Vivekananda memorial Thiruvallur statue Triveni Sangam are at walking distance. Rooms are average with basic facilities, not maintained well. Food in the restaurant is not great - breakfast options are limited and very average in terms of quality. Hotel area is huge and there are peacocks roaming around.

The room is excellent with sea view, nice staff, parking, walking space and walkable distance from temple and view points.

Clean and spacious. Very supportive staff. Location is in center of the kanniyakumari.
