Amazing view with less noise

Property was well maintained, high level set up and clean and kitchen and food was mesmerizing. However, kitchen was not operated after 10 and even a bucket of ice feels like a big favor from the property manager. Staff was good and helpful and specially arjun did a great job in terms of calming down into difficult situations

I don't like the manager. He don't know how to talk to the people, he is totally rude. He don't know how to do business, he don't know to behave. Worst hotel and worst people, they think about money. I never suggest you guys to go there. I hate the resort also and the hotel people as well. Never go there I dont know who give him job. He don't even know how to behave.

Guest was not happy about the distance of the property from the mall road and about the menu items. When the staff informed the guest that the location and distance are correctly mentioned over the online platforms and the management is not at fault if the guest ignored to see the details online, the guest got furious. It's a homestay and hence, the staff cooks homely food from our menu. We do not have tandoor here so tandoori items can be ordered by the guest from the nearby restaurants. The staff just gave the logical answers and tried to explain their side but the guest was not accepting any explanation.

familyMy stay at white haven was comfortable.Though I think it is highly over rated if I see other reviews.The rooms are clean, large and have good views but I won't call it value for money at the price offered. I would go for a 4 star hotel suite room at this price.The stay was completely managed by the helpers Mahender and Suresh who were great. However the hosts never turned up to talk about stay , issues or guide. Owning a homestay, I count this as an important factor. Certain factors you should consider before opting : 1.Can you manage with a limited menu of food during limited hours? 2.Would you always like to have your breakfast dinner at the common dining table along with others? 3.Would you like to stay at 300 rs taxi away from mall road? Rest should be fine. I was allowed to park my car for an extra night which was a great help.

No 4 star hotel will have a room as good as ours. Guests have compared our rooms and claimed ours to be bigger and better. The hosts takes care of many businesses and stays occupied with work. Whenever they get time, they try to interact with The guests. However, they respect The privacy of guests and at times, guests are reluctant to interact and to be bothered. Staff is there to assist about stay, issues or guide. all hotels and homestays operate with a limited menu of food with limited hours of service. Property is just 20 minutes away from mall Road but since, Shimla is a tourist place and so, taxi rates can seem expensive.
