The property is located in a very beautiful location, the view it has is mesmerizing. Every thing from common room to the food is amazing, so is the staff. It has been a really good experience and 100% will book again for next trip to mcleodganj.

Slow wifi. Terrible booking security.

The wifi speed was terrible in some places and average in others. The booking system and handling team was terrible. I had bookings for two further days but they told me that the booking was cancel-led through mmt and they told me lies that mmt mailed them for the confirmation of cancellation from my end. They gave me a screenshot that had the cancel confirmation for someone else's booking instead of mine. They even went behind and initiated the cancellation process and refund without consent. The team at this hosteller location won't even pick up calls from mm t so as to clear any doubts.

Worst experience

Got checked in at 2:30, very unprofessional staff. One of the staff was very rude and they made us leave the room at late night and do not considered the fact that we were with a girl and her safety was in line. Asked to cancel next day booking as well. Pathetic staff, will not recommended anyone to go for a stay by just looking the appearance of the property.

Beware of the steps while checking in with luggage

There are 100 steps to the hosteller with hardly any assistance. So if you are fit and upto carrying all your luggage down 100 steps in the rains go for it otherwise good location. Near to main square. Food is ok. Room does not match the pictures. Very low bed. No cupboard. No basic things like glass for a private room. Cafe staff is good. But no other assistance from reception.Overall without the steps which can be slippery in the rains and few other basic necessities in room, it is a ok place to stay. View is good.

Decent property for doing a workation

The property is located with some good cafés nearby and a has an amazing view of the mountains. But it requires guests to climb up/down 60-70 steps to reach the location. Within the property itself you might have to further climb up and/or down to reach to your room - in our case it was both. The private room was spacious and clean with an attached washroom and balconey - with the view of the mountains ofcourse. I worked out of their co working space which is sufficiently large and is next to an inhouse cafe. Wifi speed is good for working independently but the connection itself is a bit jittery, which is problematic if you have meetings to conduct/attend for work. Overall a decent stay.

Located at 96 stairs down which is not mentioned anywhere, u have to carry your own luggage through these wet stairs and also inside hotel, no lift and no services but they are charging like luxury hotels.

Good support, great ambiance. I would like to appreciate rajat who was there at the cafe, was very supportive. Rooms were clean and cozy, food is little expensive at the cafe but overall i loved the place.

Terrific property and absolute delightful manager at the front mr. Zubin, really friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was on point in the rooms and overall property. And the food was good too. Only problem is the location of the property. There are a 100 stairs that one has to climb up and down in order to go to the main mcleodganj market

Dissatisfied with receptionist help

There was no help provided when i shared my discomfort in the dormitory. Eventually, i had to make a double booking also, last day a dorm mate puked in the sink and help-desk instead of getting it clean immediately frowned upon us for repeatedly asking to get it cleaned.
