Towels n bedsheets were pale in color n pretty old. Swimming pool water was too cold. Room was bit dirty when we checked in. We made them clean again. Buffet non veg was very limited.

Sterling Yelagiri is not matching the standards of sterling hotel chain. I suspect whether if it’s really under the management of Sterling itself. My previous stay at Sterling Yercaud was amazing. This time the stay costed me around 4K per night. The bath towels were old and stained. The door although was doing its job looked like it’s not getting locked properly.The breakfast buffet had less options. The ala carte menu is a rip off. I had 2 chapathi, 1 mutter ( green peas ) masala, and 1 veg fried rice at the price of Rs 834. But again the prices are the same in most of the hotels around. The hotel staff were decent and friendly.

I’m so disappointed- not worth it

I must say it was a very disappointing stay. Having spent amount, the room that was given to me was not even worthy. An ordinary table with a seat, a 15 inch TV (yes, you read that right), an uncomfortable bed. Absolutely nothing that remits a 14k rate. I have stayed at the best hotels, but for this rate, even Taj’s budget offers better property. And frequent power cuts. I stayed at Treebo and that was heaven compared to this. Just horrible

Poor Stay

lift dint not work, towels and matte were not in the restroom. Balcony was very much near to the next property and monkeys started to enter my room through the balcony.

Service is top notch! Slightly old property but they're constantly renovating and upgrading. Clean and working swimming pool! The Spa is available but during our stay lady masseuse was not available. Gold Facial for Rs. 1100. Bonfire every evening next to swimming pool. With Tamil songs. Some kids to groove with music! Food is very good. They've buffet in breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner buffet is elaborate. And most of dishes are tasty! They've 4-5 items for dessert as well everyday. Rooms we stayed in were spacious with Balcony. But we couldn't use it due to monkeys. Rooms with Balcony are sold at higher price but Balcony was not impressive. Small and view of side road.

Terrible Stay

Our stay at Sterling Yelagiri was extremely disappointing and not at all worth the money. The rooms were not up to the mark, poorly maintained and lacking basic cleanliness. There was absolutely no privacy as the swimming pool is right in the middle of the hotel and visible to everyone, making it very uncomfortable to use. The food experience was horrible – we ordered biryani which was not fresh, and the buffet spread was tasteless and of very poor quality. Overall, the ambience felt congested and chaotic, more like a chawl than a resort. This was a pathetic experience and I would definitely not recommend this property to anyone looking for comfort, privacy, good food, or a peaceful holiday.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is courteous and helpful. Food is amazing. Did not expect food would be so good! The local cuisine was extremely flavourful and sumptuous. Yelagiri does not have any attraction. So it would be good if hotel could give more amenities.

I hd a wonderful stay at Sterling Yelagiri. The hospitality was excellent, and the staff made sure we felt comfortable throughout. A special mention to Subhash, who was extremely helpful in arranging food for us on time. He was very attentive and made our dining experience smooth and pleasant. One of the highlights was that the hotel provides complimentary food for kids below 3 years, which is such a thoughtful gesture for families traveling with little ones. It really made our stay more convenient and enjoyable. Overall, Sterling Yelagiri is a great choice for families, with warm service and family-friendly facilities. Highly recommended!
