Excellent stay with excellent hospitality. We came to celebrate our kids birthday and it was truly a great experience. Alex made sure everything was done. And the caretakers were excellent too. We only opted for breakfast and it was amazing though it was basic. It was fresh and made on demand. Best place with best view with best hospitality.

Away from the hustle amidst serene quiet nature

Excellent place if you are coming with a big group of family and friends. The place is out of the hustle, amidst tea plantations and at a high point above the hustle. Loved our stay with family and friends. It is a huge property and villa. The property is on a steep hill but with a proper and pakka road. some drivers might be hesitant to come up so clarify that with your driver if you are bringing one. The property can arrange one on informing earlier in case you need one. If you are driving, then you can carefully and easily bring it uphill. But being on top of a hill is what makes the property worthwhile. The food is excellent. Sangeetha and Jayaram are both very helpful and amazing cooks shouldn’t miss her Poori Bhajji and the chutney she cooks with dosas. Alex, the caretaker, is super helpful and came down whenever we needed him.

familyFantastic location! absolute privacy, neatly maintained. Someone could guide a climb to the top of hill. One of the best places to chill for 6people. Swiggy and zomato access available. Breakfast was good, staff are friendly. To improve: at least one watchman to be at site at night. Rodent in kitchen. All electrical points should work, hot water access should be there for faucet.

familyI booked this this property for 2 nights @ 40k from make my trip. Not knowing the location, but when i reached there was no proper approach to the property. The people and the owners are a group of cheaters, this property is inaccessible. There is no proper road to reach this property. Its so secluded and without road it can be a matter of life and death. I didn't stay there and when asked for refund the stat vista group didn't refund any amount and straight away declined my request. I requested them to accommodate me any other property of their group but they didn't listen to anything. Make my trip was also not at all helpfull in this matter. I request not to book this property if u want to be safe on your ooty trip.

familyI went there with my family, we had an amazing stay. The host was extremely helpful and top notch hygiene. The location of the property is very scenic. We had our breakfast and dinner at the property. Very well cooked meals and delicious, just like home cooked. On our special request alex even made payasam in no time. It was a home away from home. Would definitely recommend others going there and would also visit in near future.

Great property, excellent views and ameneties. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The caretaker is specially helpful and excellent person. Just the access road is very difficult but the caretaker can help you navigate it. Excellent food and service by staff.

Good vacation

Property is kind of located on a mountain side. As we went in a smaller vehicle which might be difficult for all of us with luggage to go up in it, their pickup truck came down to pick us and also the luggage. All the rooms were very neat. Mr. Alex was our host. He took good care of us. Food was excellent. As it was raining both the days, we could not utilise the option of bonfire and barbecue. Barbecue, however was done by our host alex, even though it rained, under a shade as we requested him. There is a small trek we can do, behind the hotel itself. Thiugh it's not a big trek, it was short enuf for us to just enjoy going up and taking few pictures. It was beautiful with fog and all trees everywhere. Overall, we loved the experience and enjoyed staying there.

Loved our stay at the berg ooty. Location is excellent. Well maintained infrastructure and wonderful staff. Food was great. Just the last 300 m leading to the location is narrow and needs an experienced driver. Would recommend this fantastic experience.

Besides the fact that the slope to the property is quiet steep and needs an experienced driver to drive uphill, all other things about this property are perfect. Awesome location, beautiful property. The staff is also very cooperative and cooks tasty food on order.
