The River View Homestay

The behaviour of the owner was way to polite,which actually is the testament of his true nature which is being an absolute gentle man from the core of the heart!The ladies who were the attendants,were also very polite,helpful and cordial,The room (no 103) was also very spacious,having most of the necessary amenities,was indeed very neat and clean.The foods served were way to delicious but, the most distictive thing which I am still missing while being in a room(while writing this review) of one of the most luxurious The River View Homestays cum resorts of darjeeling is its view,especially from its balcony.It could display the entire town down-hill which would give you such pleasure to the eyes,to the mind that I just can't describe with my words!I was really lucky to be here for 2 nights!I wish I could hit this place once again if I ever visit kurseong in near future.

The property is close to the Kurseong Station. walking distance 15 mins. the family room that I was in had a great view of mountains and nature. Mr host is welcoming and very friendly and is really helpful. Nice person and very soft spoken with always a smile on his face. We had veg and non veg thali for lunch and the food was good with homely touch. So, overall, I would rate 10 out of 10 for overall experience at this homestay.

This is a family run homestay with excellent ambience and views. Rooms are airy with attached balcony. One can have views of the mountain and valleys from room itself. They have facilities like 24hrs geyser, free wifi, bed tea and Aquaguard water. The food is home cooked and the hosts are very cordial and helpful. Since the property is a little down town, it is very peaceful and relaxing. Excellent experience.

Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Location was a bit on the inside but communicable. Meals were pretty fine considering they were homemade. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Overall good experience for the price.

This is an amazing property to stay. The staffs are all nice and helpful and the view is marvelous. You can see valley and the river as well as the town of Mirik and Ambootia Tea Garden. Highly Recommended!

Everything was amazing starting from food to the courtesy of the host. The host guided us through the routes.
