They didn't let us enter to their hotel room telling us that they don't allow unmarried couple to their hotel. I can't see anything of that unmarried issue in the MMT app. The hotel staff were laughing at us and told me that "mama utha ke le jaiga". Please refund my money back to my account ... I appreciate the service they provided us. I would recommend that they don't showcase alcohol in the reception area. They should keep reception and alcohol separate. This impacts the image of the hotel. Hope they take the review in right spirit
Good location and good service

Room and all other facilities are below par
Map plans are not worth buying
Very limited choice of food
Check out time 10 am is too early
Not a place worth staying
Traveler should look for another option or better skip Kurseong.
As my son studied there I had to visit the place. But the best part I found was staying in this cosy hotel. From service to rooms, from food to hospitality everything was perfect. The reception was very cooperative. The rooms are soothingly decorated & food/drinks are pocket friendly. Overall the experience was so good that I visited it again even after my son completed his schooling.

There are two really good things about this hotel.
One - It is located right on the main road and within 3 mins' walking distance from the railway station and 5 mins from the main bazaar area.
Two - The restaurant serves really yummy food at very reasonable prices. We were here for 2 days and tried a number of dishes - each one was excellent.
Go for the queen rooms at the front of the hotel, that way you can see the train engines chugging right below you. The rooms and bathrooms are quite big, and quite clean. There is free WiFi in the room, and it's quite fast.
Only criticisms I have are - the WiFi does not work after 10 in the night, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
As an added bonus for animal lovers, there are a couple of very friendly dogs at the hotel.

The best chicken cutlet I have had in whole country. Very beautiful hill station it is ideally located just before Darjeeling and the climate is super pleasant. The usp is the quality of the food and service. The view from the window where you see a beautiful valley. The heritage train is parked outside the hotel.

The hotel, probably one of the biggest and popular in that small town in the district of Darjeeling, West Bengal, is located in the main and proper area of the town, which is a stone throwing distance from the toy-train railway station, the main market area and the taxi stand, though the area is very congested and full of traffic through-out.
The room we stayed is the best of the hotel, named as King deluxe, which is though small in size has a very good, breathtaking mountain facing side, by which you will be able to enhance your enjoyment and relaxation.
The quality of food is good, especially the north-Indian and Punjabi cuisines, but could not able to tell about the Chinese and others as we have not tasted. Service and behaviour is good. As we stayed there for two days only and the overall, experience is good.

I had gone there for the admission of my brother in the Victoria boy's school. We lived in this hotel for three days. Rooms were well-maintained with 24 hours electricity facilities. They provided us with some nice food. We had some local food which was quite nice. Staff were nice. It is a good choice to stay in this hotel.
