Sun Spot Villa Homestays

We had a wonderful stay at Sun Spot Villa in Kurseong. The view was absolutely amazing! Initially, we had booked a small room, but since I wanted a room with a view, we were upgraded to a bigger room, which made the experience even better. The place is truly offbeat, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The service was great as well. Would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Kurseong!

I had a fantastic experience at Sun Spot Homestay! The room was neat, clean, and very comfortable, making my stay truly relaxing. The caretaker was exceptionally polite and gentle, adding a warm and welcoming touch to the visit. We ordered fried rice and chicken, and the food was absolutely delicious—freshly prepared and full of flavor. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I’m already looking forward to visiting again soon!

Rooms are neat. Host is good and very helpful. The Location is also very good near a sightseeing place.

It's a very calm place to stay for a weekend. We stayed there for a day, the staff were most helpful and the food they prepared for us was delicious. It is a bit outside of the busy town centre. The highlight was to see the toy train going to Kurseong just beside the hotel. You can enjoy the serenity from here.

The rooms were soiled and stinking. The property owner, Mr from bengal, took an extra 1500- saying that he will give us better rooms (the property has 3+3 rooms of which 2 are road facing and others are not) even though the rooms were available as there was no one else in the property. Felt like being cornered and cheated as the money transaction was being made at the last moment when i already arrived at the property.

Sunspot villa is an excellent place as a homestay and service. Located a bit away from the centre of kurseong, which is just a five minute taxi drive away, the area across the homestay is a marvelous and beautiful place for enjoying solitude or a small group. Also, the keepers of the homestay are amazing people. Loved the place and the people.

Greyser, tv and internet is not working condition. Room and pillow is damaged, renovate required. Driver staying room not available.

Everything was just superb except wifi. It was written wifi free access but not able to access wifi.

Beautiful property with amazing facilities and home cooked meals. The caretaker, udipi was very kind and helpful for every requirements of us. We extended our stay because of the warmth and beauty of the property.

Rooms and bathroom are clean and hygienic. Staff is polite and helpful. Parking facility is poor. No wifi provided and no mobile connectivity except for jio. Overall good and satisfactory experience. Must try.

Sunspot villa in kurseong is a great homestay. I spent two days there and had a beautiful experience, with wonderful view from windows as well as balcony. The quality of the room was fine. But most importantly, the hospitality of the staffs was heart touching. Food was homely, more than enough in quantity and very tasty. Overall the experience was great with the nature and the people.

It was a great experience, homestay was very clean and at nice location. I am thankful to udipi who has helped us in arranging cabs and lady who has cooked delicious food. I would recommend other travellers to stay here.
