Laurels Villa | Rooms & Cottages

I would like to share my Poor experience for this property. At the time of booking in standard and Delux room it's showing cottage type room as outside layout. when we went there it's room in one big flat type layout and the condition of room was not good at all. we need to buy Delux room after paying extra charge and that too not in proper condition. the flush was working in washroom. water taps were in leakage condition. there were no electricity for 6 to 7 hours and no Generater back up. only Good thing was Care taker Mr. Waghmare was very Helpful and supportive in this situation that's why we were able to stay there. so it's very poor stay.

Close to main road on it’s way to Mahabaleshwar, room was neat . Car parking available.

Location is good but there's a slope at the entrance which is irritating. Room was ok but I found a big spider near my bed, that was frightening. I tried to order the dinner but the owner denied by telling me that they have not enough orders of dinner so he couldn't arrange. Room service was not good. Hot water facility is good. And the owner is a kind man. But overall experience is not good and hotel is not value for money. Too much expensive considering the facilities.

The room was clean and hygienic. The bathroom and toilet were clean. The view was so beautiful and the caretaker was also so humble. No complaints at all for the experience.

Overall stay was very nice, the service provided by caretaker was excellent. Food provided by caretaker was superb specially aaloo paratha. Rooms are clean and tidy. Room no 7 having guiser problem so no hot water. Remaining all rooms are nice. But whenever you want to book please book room no 1 to 5.

Very nice stay. Resort site is very beautiful and service very good and kitchen food tasty. Place is center of mahabaleshwar and pachgani.

Parking issue and no drinking water is provided

Very nice villa. Staying in this villa was very enjoyable. Care taker took good care of us and made the dining room nice. Food is very nice. Room is very clean. The bonfire was fun to do and the song was fun to sing. Car parking is available. Care taker 's nature is very nice. Very enjoyable property.

The room and wash room are very clean. Food service is great. The location of the hotel is pristine and refreshing.

There was lots of spiders and other insects in the room. We even asked them to remove them but they denied. They asked to remove shoes outside the hotel entrance to avoid dirt and hence lots of leech get into the shoes and then stuck with our body when we wear the shoes.

As we checked in and entered, there were few incests in the cottage we ignored. We went to freshen-up in the washroom, lizard was there in the washbasin, we called the caretaker he took her out. Again my partner went to fresher n up, one more lizard on washroom curtain, again caretaker had to come and take her out. 2. I realised, the entire cottage is filled with spider nets i asked the caretaker to clean it he did with broom but later i saw every corner, roof has spider nets, there were other various insects in the bathroom and near bed. Which ofcourse i had to kill with my chappal 3. Finally we thought we can sleep after eating amazing food prepared by the caretaker’s wife. The fan speed was 4-5 and the fan blades started touching the roof due to which the sound was very bad, we we informed care taker. He said we have to turn the fan on the slow speed so that the noise doesn’t come but when we had put the put the fan on slow speed, we were not able to sleep. He also mention the fan regulator and the speed can be repaired only next day. If at all the electrician is available or we had to stay in the same way. 4. Next day the current was fluctuating, gyser was not working bcz of low currnt, the lights were off only one light and one fan on slow speed were on. 5. We had asked the caretaker to changed the linen as soon as we enter the room, he changed it and kept the old linen in the room only. Later we had to ask him to take it back. 6. Cockroaches were dancing on the dinning table in the lawn. 7. The most stupid and illiterate thing i have ever seen, guest in the villa were allowed to dry in the lawn on stand infront of out cottage. I didnt get sleep! i am shocked how the property owner or the caretaker lacks these basic common sense and hospitality!

Nice villa. Mature view from outside. Interested to stay again. Jeater is there. Rooms are clean. All facilities are provided. Rooms are but costly on season

Service by caretaker was good. But the room was a bit expensive for the facilities. No utilities for hanging clothes. No proper door for restroom. I had submitted a review last time as well but whenever i use the coupon code, it never allowed me to use it. I tried it within 45 days

Caretaker was too friendly n helpful

Suitable for those who want to stay in calm for a couple of days. Don't expect any luxury like hotel. Show is run by a family who are caretaker, cook everything. Food you will get with home taste. But before ordering confirm the rates even for the bone fire.

They had 4 rooms wth geysers bu not a single geyser in working condition they handed rod heater it was also useless the room had only 1 led light working out of 4 comforter & mattress of other room kept on the floor parking was terrible had conjusted area

This is one property ensconced in the lap of nature, in a place metgutad in between mahabaleshwar and panchgani. We stayed in a cottage, room is good and comfortable but one might not feel comfortable with or within the attached washroom though. Must appreciate ankush, the caretaker who stays in the property and runs a one-man show, managing everything from dishing out tasty foods to cleaning etc. Recommended for a pleasant stay.

Very nice place for group and family to stay in mahabaleshwar. All the points are very near to this villa. Service is very good, humble and supportive staff. I request to the owner for make sure of whether electric guiser for hot water are ok or not. So please just one suggestion for your property.

Recently visited this property during my trip to mahabaleshwar. Property has excellent connectivity with mahabaleshwar as well as panchgani. Overall cleanliness and services are at par and at affordable price. Highly recommended for the family customers.
