Suraj Guest House

It's okay. The stay is not so good. Not provided good room.

Booking this hotel just wastage of money. None can stay such a dirty hotel and room and way to hotel is very congested and stairbof the hotel is very narrow. I suggested to the visitor not to book this hotel for staying.

Good family, hotel is named after their son Suraj. Good people. I paid 500 per night and stayed 2 nights Suraj was my guide @ banaras good young chap but needs to improve his English communication and he was cooking up history of the places he should read what they have written beside vishwanath temple rather telling his own stories give the guests facts. And he should take them to clean restaurant we all know how Kashi is... But being a local he must take us to nice food at least... Then pretty much the same obvious commissions at pandit... And puja offerings he was okay..! Not good. Ask for tip directly don't milk the guest I wanted to say but I thought it would be too harsh to say that he was nice to me my best wishes for his business future.

I've booked an AC room but provided with a non AC one. Room service was horrible. Food was tasteless. It was late night and I've already made the payment else I would have never stayed in such a place. I would suggest MMT to remove such hotels from your website else it would effect your customers trust.

The hotel is situated in narrow lanes of Kashi very near to Vishwanath Temple, just walking distance away. Cremation Ghat is just next to it. Don't go on roof if you don't want to see cremation. Its an old house converted into guest house with owner living at ground floor. Frequent Power cuts happen so your AC wouldn't work for long. Rooms are old and lack proper repair. Steep staircase leads to rooms not good if you have joint problem. For transport 1 kms of walking is required as its in no entry zone. Beware of staff if they get friendly and ask to escort you to temples as you will get everything at twice the price due to his commission from shops and transport ( auto rickshaw etc). Prefer eating outside as there is no room service facility. If you tell staff to fetch food it would cost you much. He might tell you to book conveyance to Varanasi or Maugham Sarai Stations at Rs. 250 and Rs. 500 while if you book by your self it would be Rs. 100 and Rs. 250.

Worst experience I ever had, the hotel is not at all good and services are very bad. People are not at all responsive at that place, no services available. There was no entry made when I checked in, the only benefit is it is close to the main temple.

Not at all suitable to stay. Very narrow and steep staircase. No room service is available. Rooms are small.
