Amritara Suryauday Haveli

I recently stayed at Amritara Suryauday Haveli in Varanasi. While the property is close to the Ghat, which is definitely a plus, reaching the hotel was quite inconvenient. The access is through narrow streets where vehicles can't go, and unfortunately, the hotel staff wasn’t able to clearly explain the directions to our taxi driver, which made the arrival quite stressful. The stay itself was average — nothing particularly stood out in terms of service or comfort. Overall, a decent option if proximity to the Ghat is your top priority, but be prepared for access issues.

You have to Walk through these lanes every time you need to go outside as no auto or rickshaw comes inside. Otherwise property is very good, serene, good food, and courteous staff. Very cooperative and friendly staff , food quality is nice, the helpfulness of staff is exemplary, Hassan, Vipin, Brijesh, to name few who made our stay wonderful and above all the manager Mr Uday was awesome , Rooms were neat , bathrooms were clean , Just a few steps & your reach mother Ganga, Highly recommended

The place was peaceful, clean with great staff and perfect location.. rooms were neatly done and washrooms were also spacious. The only problem is to reach this hotel as it is situated in a bit congested area and four wheeler could not come here but hotel staff is more than helpful in guiding and picking you up at a near by location so that guests do not face any problem in coming or carrying luggage.

Our first visit to Varanasi became truly unforgettable thanks to Amritara Suryauday Haveli. The location on the Ganga, the serene evening music, and the soul-soothing atmosphere made it an experience of a lifetime. Heartfelt thanks to the warm and attentive team—Abhishek ji, Brijesh ji, Hasan ji, Sandeep ji, Vikas ji, Kuldeep ji, and especially Shiva Kumar ji—for their exceptional hospitality and care. We felt at home, cared for, and deeply connected to the spirit of Kashi. We’re definitely coming back. 🙏

I had a generally good experience at the hotel, with the food being a highlight - the quality and variety were better. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was also well-maintained. However, one aspect that fell short of expectations was the Ganga river view, which wasn't as satisfactory as I had hoped for. Overall, it's a good hotel, but there's room for improvement in terms of the views

I am an avid traveller and this was one of the best stay experiences .I have had. The property is located right on the bank of Ganga . we had gone near a full moon night and the view of the river and moon were mesmerizing. The staff was very warm and welcoming staring from the manager to every one .They take care of you like you are a part of their family .The highlight for me was their chef and the food . We tried all their house specialities .The taste transported me back to food , I had at my dadi or nani ma's place on special occasions

location is very bad. Vehicles face problem in reaching the location .Neither do the guests find Vehicles from location. Staff is not very supportive.

This is an ideal hotel for Varanasi- kind staff, cozy hotel, incredible views. I truly can’t imagine staying anywhere else - everyone went above and beyond to make our stay magical.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is on that for best sunrise view. Overall a very great stay

location - very difficult to reach, no conveince available, view good. but be prepared to walk in zigzag lanes and climb up and down many steps room : decent breakfast: they charge for buffet, but don't serve any. you have to orde4 a dish and that take about 45 minutes to be served. even if it is a simple parathyroid or toast butter lunch and dinner : ok In room teabags are of low quality with no brand name on them. to sum in up it is not value for money place.

this is an excellent property right on the banks of river Ganga. the entire staff is extremely courteous and professional. food is very delicious and it is served absolutely fresh. my room was very well appointed. The property is on the heart of the city making it easy for commuting to all important places. overall I had excellent experience.

Beautiful haveli. These guys have the best service and hospitality. Must stay there id if you visit Varanasi. Staff are very kind and accomodating. Udai ji is the best person i have met so far.

The location is fantastic just on the banks of the ganga river accessible directly to the ghats. Hotel is well made with modern amenities. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Only the food needs to be improved. Hotel view

It’s one of the terrible experiences I have ever had! There is no proper access road for the car to the hotel even…One needs to walk through with luggage Upto 500 meters to reach hotel.. Room is quite smaller without proper design. Restaurant timings are restricted so does room service, you can’t get anything after 10 PM. Not worth considering it as HOTEL.

Excellent Hospitality by Udhaye and Team, Chef Sanjay Gupta and his spread of joy through his tasty delicious food magic is must experience

Stay was excellent and nice gesture showed by all the staff with curtesy. Only thr cost for boat riding early is too high
