One can spend a week Long holidays at this place with family great place

Very bad experience, location is not reachable, once you reach hotel than you are not movable, just a room there is no feeling like staying in the hotel. Cleaning is so poor, food is not good, too much costly related to facility location, overall my worst experience and totally dissatisfaction.

Almiras are old and not properly cleanedthe toilets should be clean and the gadgets should be functional. Location is OK in respect of the view, But the road leading to the hotel is in bad shape. Food is average but one can get his options ordered. It's more of a home stay types.

Very nice and clean room, the owner and care taker are very friendly. Go pal the care taker is an excellent cook and prepares homely meals. Full value for money. Golf club is just 2 km and nearby market in walking distance

The cottage is located with an open view... As the name of the place suggests. There were nice balconies from each of the rooms of the cottage, and each had a great view of the mountains. The bathrooms were is a state of disrepair, and there were serious problems with the electrical wiring, which we were able to report to the estate manager when we left this morning. The upkeep of the cottage could be much better. The entire plumbing needs to be fixed, and the bathroom fixtures cleaned thoroughly by someone who knows what to do. The caretaker is a helpful guy, and made us a nice dinner. I would have to be thoroughly reassured of improvements before I recommend the place to anyone, or visit it again. There was poor availability of Mobile networks, and no Wi-Fi.

If you are looking for peaceful place out of town this is the place to go you will feel like home the environment is so good and the housekeeper is very warm and helpful the place is good for both family and couple.

I'm a frequent traveler but never come across such stay. A villa property best suited for 2 Couples (at least) and family who wish to stay in Ranikhet. USP of the Open View estate is - Well behaved & Cooperative caretaker (Mr. Gopal), Tasty food, nice scenic view from bedroom, Located @ Peak, Peaceful environment & you can enjoy as its your own house in hilly. Thanks.

Cottages are nice. Have a fireplace inside. But thats the only good part. This is no hotel and resort. Just random houses which some random person has rented out, kept 2 caretakers. View is of the open valley but the only place in Ranikhet where you can't see the white mountains. Way overpriced compared to other places in ranilkhet. You can get much better accommodation for this price. Try holm farm heritage, stayed there for a night after a couple of days at this place.
