Hotel Yarab TSO Nubra

Good homely food, spacious living with nice view. Remotely located.
Nice and quiet place. Green and clean. You might get lucky to see starry night if weather permits.

It's not even a hotel as per my observation. It' located in God forsaken place I. E ., almost 60 to 70 Kms away from sand dunes, you need to come back 30 kms and drive to the opposite side. When you reach and see the room after a long day and tiring journey, it's such a disappointment. All doors are less than 6 feet high and you will end up banging your head. If you want something, you have to walk to the back or shout. No internal telecom or bell. No heating. No power and you need to request a couple of times to the owner to switch on the generator that will be turned off whenever they want. No running hot water in such a cold place. You can request for a hot water bucket. Color bedsheet, keep guessing, when they were changed last time. Less said about the room and bathroom, the better. It may be called a C grade paying guest accommodation. IN my opinion not even worth 1000 Rupees.
