Air conditioner not effective in peak summers. Property more suitable for pleasant weather. Staff is courteous. The boat service and rickshaw services within the property is wonderful. Live music is great.

we had a not so pleasant experience here. So, firstly it was our fault in choosing the time to travel. we chose April which was already 35° hot temperature. the hotel is located on the Ganges bank, however getting to it is by boat or a long taxi ride. it is practically remotely located and cut from from the rest of the city. No non-veg food and no alcohol is allowed on the property.( which is good, considering it's banaras) They have 01 restaurant and a small cafe. the restaurant serves breakfast at 1500 ₹ per head which is neither a delicious meal not worth the price. worst part is that they were unable to provide cold water in the rooms. they proudly say that that have a "no room service" policy, ut are unable to serve cold water (on payment) too. the restaurant band cafe serve till 10 pm. post that you have to spend 3000₹ on a cab to go to town for literally anything. the property is worth visiting in the cooler months of the year. and try carrying your own food and water supplies.

Food quality was poor. In 44℃ temperature, there wasn't any cold water. Tents were not equipped with mini fridges. Dog menace: dogs entered tents and scattered/destroyed stuff.

The location is good but the service and management is very poor. The management team is inconsiderate and inhospitable (the serving staff is decent. The stay was unpleasant. Amenities are below average for the money they charge!

Extremely unprofessional attitude. Don't understand the h of hospitality, and cover up their shoddy attitude under the pretext of "we are not a hotel" their motto seems to be to treat every guest request, not with a smile, but with a an impolite and rude "no" 1. Meals at this place should be a no 2. Relying on them for any concierge assistance services should be a no 3. Checking into this hotel ever again should be a no 4. Recommending this place to any other visitor should be a no. The electricity supply was through these random piped wires with these plug points. The holes in the tent fabric and the gaps around the corners of the tent structure made sure that all creepy crawly bugs, etc, got a free pass to come indoors. Oh and lastly the stray dogs seem to be welcomed at the property such that we were told oh btw - they may get inside your room. No matter how much you zip up the tent - the dogs get in, get hold of whatever food they can and leave a mess behind. The property takes no responsibility and says we warned you so. In that same spirit - am telling you, stay away from this property or after your experience i might just need to say "we warned you so. Oh and in 40 degrees temperatures - the hotel never has any cold drinking water. Their fridge doesn't work, and no one is bothered. But hey when you tip the waiter 100 bucks, 12 bottles of chilled water magically appear!

The location and ambience are great but the service, food quality and boat travel management is below average. Even though they charge 5-star rates for all those services but they are still lagging badly in all those areas and need to do much better. I would recommend staying here for the experience of staying in a tent city on the gang-es but would not recommend them for any of the other services. Got the same yoga teacher is sick excuse for morning yoga. This tells me that the management uses this same lie frequently to deceive customers. They never called before checkin and when i did to enquirer about the food i was told that i can buy food there as food was not included in my package but when i checked in at 1:30 pm they were acting surprised that i did not got a call and said they need prior intimation for food. Due to their location it is hard to get food from outside and with this kind of miscommunication from their end i ended up without any lunch along with my family of 5 people.

If you really want to stay in peace with all modern support, this is the place. Everyone is supportive and humble. Food is not good. Summer is not right time to stay on sand

Sashank the travel coordinator is awesome who managed the boat and gave correct answers for each situation. In regards to amenities need urgent attention specially providing cold water to the customers as there is no cold water in restaurant and room services. Apart from that we love the hospitality with everyone smiling except one manager not sure why. We love the location itenary for travel and detail in welcome. Best regards

Very poor service by staffs room service are very poor air conditioner not working water problems in wash room

Good ambiance, cleanliness, staffs, responsive. But if there is good thing bad things follow it. Bad is non availability of ala carte food option, compulsive buffet only option. Being a spiritual place or say pilgrimage tent city don’t have fruits or juice options.

Stay is awesome peaceful to stay at Niraan Tent city…..

On the banks of ganga! its a beautiful property! fully safe n secured! awesum!

We loved our stay here. The ambience, planning of package, food, courteous staff and location. Everything is just perfect. Its bang opposite ganga ghat, so you are away from hustle bustle and still near the ghats. Package planning is perfect too and you still have time to explore the city on your own.
