Hotel Varuna

I need to visit Kashi to perform the last rites for my father-in-law. For this, I have booked four rooms in a Hotel Varuna. The ambience is just okay, but the bathrooms get clogged with water even after a simple bath. The water heaters are turned off and only turned on after repeated requests. The staff is somewhat disrespectful. The food is good, but the location is average. Although it is listed as a 3-star Hotel Varuna on MMT, the services are more like those of a 2-star Hotel Varuna. Food requests take nearly an hour to be delivered, and there are frequent power interruptions.

Location was good. Staff was helpful. However, cleanliness of the room was an issue. Amneties were satisfactory. Regarding food, the room service was very slow. Quality of food was not good. Food was also overpriced. Moreover, the Hotel Varuna was also charging service charge, in addition to service tax, on the food bill whether food was taken in their restraunt or in the room. Charging service charge is not legal. Make My Trip may like to see this fact.

The staff were friendly, courteous and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable.....The Hotel Varuna's location was convenient....The was washroom was super pretty, but we found it a bit odd that the washroom only had a shower and no tap... Overall we had an amazing and comfortable stay in this Hotel Varuna. Highly recommended

I had a great 3-night stay here. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, especially at the front desk. My room was clean, quiet.The location is ideal — just a short walk to restaurants and shops. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety. Would absolutely return next time I’m in town!

It was good and pleasant experience. Room was nice, AC wasn't working all the time but other than that it was good

It was great stay overall. Rooms were clean and comfy. The rooms were too far from entry, had to walk more than expected, it can be managed better way.

The stay was great. Hospitality was great. Food was great. Everything is good about this Hotel Varuna. It is located in middle of the city.

Velma in clean rooms with good breakfast, including fruits and milk, and good service located near Varanasi

Room was clean but quite small , so also bathroom is too small otherwise properly having on good location.. walking distance to samadhi
