Good place if you wish to stay away from the crowds. The rooms are spacious and the view from the first floor balconies and sit-out is pleasant and peaceful. There are no restaurants near by so we asked aka there to help us with breakfast and dinner. Home cooked meals which i guess they prepare for themselves and also cook for us if we request. She makes delicious chapathis and curry. We also liked idlis and dosas for breakfast and we had tea thrice each day almost making us a tea addict. We loved our stay at maple holiday home on the way to ooty at coonoor and i highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and modest stay.

It's in a small hill top and lovely ambiance. Food catered is tasty and good homemade. Reasonable cost. Rooms are spacious.

We reached the hotel by car. The place is a little isolated but ok. Directions by Google maps to the hotel were correct. Hotel has parking space for few cars. Room was spacious, neat and tidy. Caretaker gave us good homely food. Really good service.

Somewhere in the Nilgiris not very far from Ooty, there is a tranquil setting called Maple Holiday Home, nestled between dense highland evergreen forests and patches of tea plantation terraces among lofty hills. Geographically it is located in the upper Coonoor. The accommodation was very basic yet extremely neat and tidy. Food was homely cooked by the caretakers as per customizations instructed. Now, who needs a 5 star when a Homestay like this offers such pretty, breathtaking panoramic views. Most of the time these hills are embarrassed by clouds and mists, but at certain blissful moments, it's not very unusual to get an opportunity to witness a bright sunny glimpse of this picturesque landscape. In this land, Gaur herds roam free, and Malabar giant squirrels grace with a significant and delightful presence on the canopy. Nights are quiet and the loneliness is comprehended by pitch darkness and a welcome calmness far away from the hustle and bustle of cities. Distinct alarm calls from Barking deer (most likely as a result of fanatic behavior on sighting a leopard), shrieks of Cicada, and a gush of strong mountain wind contribute to the symphony of the nightlife here. We had some close scary encounters with Gaur herds while walking around our accommodation and also while driving around. Actually it was more thrilling than scary. Overall a memorable trip. And a lovely time with family.

Hotel rooms are very clean and tidy. Atmosphere and ambiance was very good. Only thing was disappointed there was no free wifi and breakfast

A peaceful and serene environment coupled with great location and an even better rooms.

The location is quite scenic with wonderful view from the balcony. Comfortable and spacious room with good care takers who were there always if we needed any help.

A nice home stay the rooms are spacious neat and clean from the window or balcony you can see a small waterfall at the opposite hill the clouds can be touch by hand. The staff cooks food we want at a very reasonable price. To reach this location you needs own convience

Location wise really awesome place to stay. Peaceful and you can see clouds around. As good as staying on top of hills. Might be difficult for new driver to cross last climb to entrance. It is one hour from Ooty and 5 mib drive from conoor railway station. Only concern is you need to order well in advance for food and there is no intercom. If you need something, you need to walk down to service guy which is not good.

Room cleaning is very excellent and Bath room is very big and clean but not available complimentary Bath accessories food items all not available simple items ready for 30 min and location is not matching for town no hotels? Near me and anyone near for this hotel simple stay and all risk

Good hotel to stay with group and family. Hotel location is awesome, rooms have all the facilities to enjoy and hotel staff is very kind. But hotel is 2km off road so good to have your personal vehicle.

Good Location hotel. Neat Toilets and bathrooms. Water is yellow in color. No hand wash in toilets is very bad. Food, they will cook for you but it is costly (similar to restaurants). Food tastes good however. If they improve basic toilet amenities, then it is good. Feeling like home stay
