Kashi Resorts

THIS IS A WARNING FOR ALL TRAVELERS WHO ARE LOOKING TO BOOK THEIR STAY IN Pahalgam AT KASHI RESORTS !! We never got to see Kashi resorts in which our booking was done !! First of all, the phone number provided by Makemytrip for Kashi resorts was fake !! In spite of repeated calls to Makemytrip, they failed to provide me the number. I had to check on the net and found a number of Kashi resorts. On calling up I was told by a guy that the resort was under renovation and I would be receiving accommodation in a place called Glacier Hotel & Restaurant. Having no other option I had to put up there and IT WAS A DISASTROUS EXPERIENCE. The hotel is located in Pahalgam Bazar in a very congested locality which is a far cry from the quiet river bank location which was promised in my booking of Kashi resorts. The room quality was pathetic. The washroom basin doesnot work and was stinking. Bathroom taps were broken. Food was highly overpriced and stale with disgusting service. At the time of check out the hotel people did not even bother to carry the luggage to our car. MOST IMPORTANTLY, during the entire period of stay nobody bothered to apologize for the fact that I was not given the hotel I booked and was forced to stay at a much inferior hotel PAYING MUCH HIGHER THAN THE ACTUAL TARIFF. DO NOT BOOK HERE. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY !!
