Dear Ms. Pooja, Greetings from Hotel Solitaire. We truly value your patronage and are sorry to hear about your concerns. However, we would like to clarify that it is the guest’s responsibility to take care of the room property during their stay. Using the dining table for meals is always advisable to avoid accidental stains or damage to bedding and pillows. In this instance, the stains on the bedsheets and pillows were caused by food oil, which could not be removed through standard laundry procedures. As such, the items had to be replaced. These replacement costs cannot be absorbed into the standard room tariff, and as per our policy, any damages caused to the property are chargeable to the guest. We hope you understand our position and the need to maintain the quality and hygiene of our rooms for all guests.
