Hotel food was way too costly, also rooms were not thoroughly clean

Property and Location is excellent. but the room windows and electric switches need to be upgraded as they are very old and difficult to use. Rooms need to have pest control as many cockroaches we saw in the room. Not good for hygiene and health

Hotel is in bad shape. Stale smell and stink all around. A stray dog was sleeping near lift lobby at night. No towel in the bathroom. Hot water is limited to specific hours in the morning and evening

I booked Rangsharda Hotel, Bandra through MMT Business for a family stay on 01/09/2025. This turned out to be one of the worst and most horrifying stays I’ve ever had. We checked in at 5:30 PM and checked out the next day at 2 PM, but were still forced to pay for an extra half day, despite booking for a full day. This is blatant overcharging and daylight cheating. The property is in pathetic condition – peeling doors, broken fixtures, damp smell, and an atmosphere like a haunted haveli. Worst of all, the rooms were infested with cockroaches. Even after changing rooms twice, cockroaches were crawling everywhere – in the bathroom, near the bed, and even in the cupboard. Completely unhygienic and unacceptable for any guest, let alone families. This was not just disappointing – it was embarrassing, unsafe, and horrifying. I booked this through my MMT Business account, trusting the platform to ensure quality stays. Instead, it became a nightmare that ruined our trip. I strongly demand MMT to: 1. Process a refund/compensation for this terrible experience. 2. De-list Rangsharda Hotel immediately to prevent other guests from suffering the same ordeal. MMT should take full responsibility for listing such a substandard and unhygienic property. ---

Property is old and needs to maintenance as so many things are not properly working. Lobby AC is not working and continuously dripping water from it. Because of that the rooms are so chilled we can literally freeze. 2nd thing is hot water timing is so unprofessional, i have not seen this type of condition in recent times even in 2star hotels. Food quality is good but not upto the mark.

Our stay at Hotel Rangsharda was deeply disappointing. The rooms were unhygienic, dimly lit, and carried a persistent smell of cigarettes. The air conditioning was ineffective, adding to the discomfort. Room service and dining were overpriced without any justification—neither the quality nor quantity matched the steep rates. While the property does possess a certain heritage charm, it felt more neglected than nostalgic. Overall, the experience was far below expectations, and I would not recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

The location was ok. The hotel room was average. The wash room needed much renovation. The passages to the room were very dirty. All the carpets stained. Leakages in the sealing. The food was average. All in all an average stay.

Photos of the property uploaded was too old. Presently full building undergoes problem . Furniture and bed are too old and creating sound while using. Warm water was provided for limited period. Room service and food is good. Not maintained as per charges declared.

We had a nice stay at Rangsharda. Value for money. Excellent location, around 30 mins. from T2.Excellent views from the sea-facing rooms. Loved the food. Prompt service from housekeeping and room service. Nice behaviour of staff. The hotel needs better maintenance of the property. Food prices are on the higher side, I felt. Overall, nice stay.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days and had an excellent experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well managed. The staff was polite, professional, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities. The food was delicious and had a good variety. Housekeeping services were timely and efficient. The location of the hotel is also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Cleaning supervisor was very rude and they shelled extra amount for towels which had colour from sacred thread tied on wrist at Siddhivinayak temple. Initially it was said that they want money for laundry and then took 1k rs

the stay was comfortable. the view of stadium was excellent. side ways sea added to it. only thing is that hotel is 40 years old soon to be renovated. over all good

Prime location few meters from Lilavati hospital. Five star like rooms and layout, magestic building, badly maintained, but value for money. Peaceful location, very hard to find in Mumbai

I used to be a regular here between 2021 and 2023 and checked-in again yesterday (May7th) after 2+years. Somethings haven't changed but some did for worse. The hotel is strictly decent and a good choice for those who don't mind a no-frill stay. If you are expecting anything more than the ordinary - you'd be disappointed. Pros - - Room sizes are big - Room service and housekeeping staff is courteous - Affordable rates for the location Cons - - Bathrooms are not well maintained (stains on washbasin, shower taps not working properly) - Foam pillows have become old - you got to pile 2 or more for comfortable support for neck - Overall property is getting old and will have to go through maintenance, soon. Will I stay here again? Yes, if I have to be around in this part of the city.
