It's a nice hotel near MG marg and gangtok city. We stayed for 2 nights. Manager was very friendly and helped us to shift the luggage to another hotel. Rooms are spacious with all facilities. Dinner and breakfast was yummy. Breakfast spread was less but it was nice. Friendly staff. Overall great experience

familyOverall it is not 4 star hotel as described in mmt. The facilities are very much limited. Good : food is good, staff is very polite and cooperative. Bad : everyday morning and evening need to contact staff for hot water switch start up. Everyday most of the item in breakfast is same. Limited staff hence expect late service.

Good property to stay with family

familyThe property location is not far away from mg market. Rooms were beautiful but small. I had to upgrade my room with extra cost with cash option only for a bigger room. However, room heater provided in all rooms without any extra charges. Food quality was ok not exceptional as i expected but the service was excellent. View from the the dining space on the top was best.

Pathetic hotel

After having a terrible experience at hotel where the room was so small and compact that it was difficult to move inside the room. With no cross ventilation and no fans available in the room, it was difficult breathing at night. No tubelights, no led and just a single dim light was there in the room. It was so suffocating at the room inside that though i have paid for 2 night stay at hotel, i left it a day earlier because of pathetic room and suffocating atmosphere inside room. At last to a great shock, welcome drink was not served as well. Pathetic hotel.

Terrible experience

Today morning 18 jun e 23 there was no water in the hotel. We had to move out without going to toilet as we had to catch flight from bagdogra. Yesterday 17 jun e 23 when we got up at 0500 am there was no electricity for one hour as no body was there to start genrator. Services were poor. It is recommended to remove denzong shangrila from your list. The above experiences were never faced in my life.

coupleThe stay was average. No welcome drink was provided. The washroom was small and dirty with no air vent. It made us pretty uncomfortable in our room. The temperature was not that cold in the morning, a table fan would have worked wonders. No such effort was made.

familyIt's not a five stare property size wise. But the service they provided with personal touch, it's beyond all the five star properties. Foods are so good and tasty but with limited menu, but you never regret it because whatever you want to eat they provided in breakfast or dinner menu i'm dam sure you will stick to that only whether it is dal or chicken. They are able to provide cabs for local sight seeing with experienced driver on very competitive price. Rooms are well equipped, bathroom are ultra modern but without intercom. Well ventilated and big size rooms. Staff are so friendly and always ready to assist you in a greetful manner.
