It was relaxation trip with family and friends in the month of May2014. This hotel was easy to locate and it was nearby to the beach. The behaviour of the staffs in the hotel was good. The room allotted to me was good and it was well maintained with all basic amenities. There was no delay while check in and checkout process. Overall, it was reasonable and value for money hotel. I will recommend this hotel to other travellers.

I had some problem to find this hotel. There was no hotel name board provided in the city. Hotel staff was good. No delays in check in and check out. They were quickly attending all our requests. Rooms were neat and clean. TV, AC, geyser, everything were available and working properly. Food was normal. Buffet System was not there. Indoor and outdoor games were not there. They did not organize any sightseeing trip for us. It was a relaxation trip with my family in the month of December 2012.

We were a group of 19 people i.e. 6 families who had visited Tarkarli for a 4 day trip. Our great experience with Blue Water Resort started with their manager Ashish when we had enquired for a good resort. After our initial booking of 6 rooms, we needed 2-3 rooms later and Ashish tried his level best to arrange them. Even when we were enroute to Tarkarli, he was constantly in touch with us to check if he should provide for lunch, tea etc based on when we would arrive.
Coming to the resort, it was relatively a small but compact place with excellent rooms. The best part was that each room had a view of the sea. The beach was very close to the resort, approx 2 minutes, and was connected to the resort by a private garden. If you want a good view of the sea, try to get rooms on the second floor as the view from the balconies on this floor was excellent.
The biggest advantage of the hotel was its courteous staff, especially Ashish and Sunder (who manages the restaurant). They, along with their entire staff, ensured that all our requirements were met. However, keep in mind, that if you want to order any food, it was best to order at least an hour in advance as the resort does not maintain a huge kitchen staff. While the options available for vegetarians are limited (understandeable in the Konkan belt), the staff was understanding to customise the food as per our requirements.
On the whole, I would recommend Blue Water especially if you are travelling in a group with women and kids, as most other accommodations in and around Tarkarli are home stays.
