Avadale Munnar (Stag Groups Not Allowed)

I recently stayed at Avadale Munnar and overall, it was a peaceful and cozy experience. The ambience of the property is lovely, nestled in nature with a calm and serene vibe — perfect for anyone looking to relax and disconnect. That said, there are some areas where the experience could be improved. Basic amenities had to be requested, which ideally should have been arranged prior to check-in. More concerning was an incident where the staff entered the room without knocking — something that felt like an invasion of privacy. This kind of behavior really highlights the need for a more professional and guest-focused approach. With a bit more attention to detail and professionalism, this place could offer a truly exceptional stay. I hope the management takes these points into consideration, as the location and setting definitely have a lot of potential.

We just had a great time at Avadale Munnar. We visited as a family including my 80 year old mother and it was a perfect vacation for us. Everything was taken care of to the minutest detail. Great rooms, excellent staff and amazing food. A quite spot away from the usual touristy places, this is ideal for those who are looking for some quite time amongst nature. We wanted to spend a couple of slow days watching it rain in the hills and this turned out to be the right spot for that. Thanks Mani and team for creating a wonderful experience for us.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hospitality was outstanding, with the staff consistently going above and beyond to assist. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. Additionally, the hotel maintained excellent hygiene standards, which really added to my comfort. Food was really good. And thanks to mani for his assistance to plan our 2 days itinerary. Overall, it's a great place to stay, and i highly recommend it!

I loved my stay at avadale with my family. The way to the property is beautiful itself as you drive through the tea gardens a few kilometres before reaching the resort. I loved the homely food they served with love. The place is peaceful and quiet. The staff is humble and helpful. Mani the manager will become your friend and everybody takes care of you. You feel at home. The rooms and the views are amazing. I would definitely plan to visit again.

The property was pretty secluded, away from the noisy munnar. Very warm and comfortable, service was great, food was also good enough.

The trip associated with the resort avadale munnar is more fulfilling for me and my family as we were taken care by the resort in all ways. The resort manager has played the role of a perfect host and we had great fun

The property is like a homestay. A standard room is good enough for the stay. Please try to skip meals at the property, it's not worthy. Still if u want to have food go for the light weight dinner buffet. Be prepared to get disappointed seeing the breakfast. Even an extra omelette u will be charged. U can have food down the hill. Others all good. Ppl are good. Property is calm n away from crowd. Nothing extraordinary to compliment.

Property is located very close to poopara and easily accessible. The whole setting was very beautiful. Amble car parking space is available. The premium room comes with a balcony. Its very spacious and was well kept while checking in. The finishing inside the room were not good. The food was really good. The north indian food was better. There weren't much of a choice in the buffet but for a laid back stay, it's sufficient. The host manikandan was very calm and helpful. The other staff members were also very good. I would totally recommend it.

The stay and the ambience at the avadale was excellent and mind blowing. The best place for stress relief and relaxing. Highly recommended. The behavior by the staff was also highly satisfied
