Good spacious room and a rooftop restaurant with excellent food and view

The location is good for travelers who intends to go to Mehrangarh fort which is at a walkable distance. In the night the illuminated image can be viewed and photos be taken from their restaurant in the top.

the hotel water flow was too slow even after complaining they were ignorant .. 30 min to fill the bucket. the washbasin had crack and lack cleanliness… room were too compact and moreover nothing organised like evening show or singing or folk song which we expect ed atleast

The staff was not very professional. Given that it's the oldest Zostel, we were really excited to see the blue city property but were highly disappointed. There were insects in the room, it didn't look like anything had been cleaned in ages. There were empty wrappers in pots and bed poles. Bathroom was so dirty and half the things were broken. I didn't even feel like washing hands there. The mattresses were damp and very uncomfortable

It was average. There were no fan and one ac .. so the ac was not circulating properly . Also the vibe was missing big times

So first of all i landed in jodhpur at 6:30 something…i went to zostel around 7…they didnt even let us checkin even after the whole room was empty..least they could do is provide us bathroom or something so i could freshenup..but they didnt they if u want to early checkin u will be charged 200….if the whole 8 bed dorm is vacant least they could do is let us early checkin but the didnt let us..second thing we came in later asker for hot water they said we dont have it here..hot water not in zostel ?? Unbelievable…even in washroom there were 2 bulbs one in corner was expired…it was pouring in jodhpur but no hot water for tourists…we ordered coffee in cafe (pleasw check cameras if u think im lying) i woke the chef up he was sleeping at 8am…later server came i told him for coffee and omlet..(check cameras i only said coffee) the guy came with black coffee…i thought he’d know ofc most people do order milk coffee but if he was confused he should have asked us which coffe sir…he came w black coffee i told him sir i want milk coffee he started yelling that i am lying I ordered black coffee..i told him check cameras i only said coffee..but he didn’t knew how to talk..later came w milk coffee and it was terrible…bathroom not hygienic i had to call manager to tell someone to clean it already…legit no hygiene…also powercut happened..told him to start inverter he said theres not any….even common room was too suffocated without ac it was terrible stay i wouldnt let anyone stay there

I had a terrible experience at this property. The receptionist was extremely rude and unwelcoming, which set a negative tone right from the start. The bed size was too small, and the rooms were very cramped with no fan or window, making it feel completely suffocated. There was no proper ventilation, the study light was broken, and the overall setup felt congested and poorly maintained. The bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable to use. There was no vibe or energy that you usually expect at a Zostel. Overall, it was a disappointing and uncomfortable stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

I found zostel through YouTube vlogs of some solo travelers. I booked dormitory. It was clean, well decorated with ac and clean attached bathroom. Water is coming , drinking water is available. Scenic beauty of mehrangarh fort from the rooftop. Also the place of the property is very nice. 10 minutes to go mehrangarh fort, 20 steps to step wells. Beautiful walk in the blue City. Overall nice experience.

Located in the heart of jodhpur, very close to clock tower, sardar market and mehrangarh fort. Hot water is available even in winters only from morning 6. 30 am to evening 6 or 6. 30 pm. Other times only cold water is available. Little small and cramped hostel. Can accommodate about 35-40 guests. They have 6 bedded female dorms, mixed dorms and double rooms. The dorms were very cramped, poorly lit and practically no ventilation. Just 1 window on 1 side of the room. Attached toilet bath with a small window. There was 1 fan in the dorm which didn't rotate and didn't suffice for the room. The lighting was on 1 side of the room not reaching all the beds. Big plus was the rooftop cafe with the fort view back side. Veg and non veg food items, beverages, hard drinks, coffees, teas available but no room service. No elevator either so one has to climb 3 stories of stairs. I was unwell and was sleeping all day in the dorm but still had to force myself upstairs to reach the cafe. My friends had a good room. Compact but had all basic amenities. Centrally located but i wish they make dorms a little more spacious

The hostel team made sure i had a good stay, however the hostel room had just one fan which was far away from my bed and it didn't swing. It's really a problem when you're sharing room with people of different preferences as well, you can't just turn on the ac if the fan is not working. They should have localised fans for different beds. But the hostel staff did whatever they could so that infrastructure won't be a problem. Thanks to them i had a good time.

Mr. Shahadat at the front desk was very helpful and guided us to take an auto rickshaw instead of a cab as this hostel is located in old city. Little small and cramped hostel.
