Worst Experience ever. Please never book with this property. There was nothing which actually was good or even better. No ambience, no proper food, nothing was good

Excellent location, great views, comfortable rooms, courteous staff, and delicious food. What else can you expect in a remote place in North Sikkim. I would highly recommend this hotel to each and every traveler who is visiting Lachung to cover Yumthang Valley and zero point. Real value for money.

One of the best and luxurious places to stay in lachung. The level of details to everything starting from the interiors to the room and the food is awesome. It is difficult to imagine how they have arranged such stuff for the comfort of guests at a height of 16k feet. Will definitely visit again

The view, the hotel staff, cleanliness, food, bar, spa everything thing was right spot on to make you extend your stay for another day. Buffet dinner and breakfast was filled with amazing cuisines. The bar and drink served with complimentary dishes. The room mattress had heater along with a room heater to make yourself super cozy in bed and running hot water to get freshen up. Would love to revisit again. The spa service provided by aunty to my wife was worth mentioning as she did her hair complementary 🙂 that was so sweet of her. The girls staff at restaurant were willing to help out of their way to make your travel worth. Special shout out to their entire staff

Excellent property with great views exactly the way it looks like in pics beautiful bar, decent spa there is a small river nearby, you can go by walk a lot of improvement required for dining service & quality of food

We had to cut short our trip from 2 nights to 1 night as the geysers & room heater were non functional in the property despite the locations facing weather of -2 to -6 degree

Hotel is good location is also good u will be the first one to leave for yumtham and zero point a sits close to check point; food is also good; rooms are comfortable staffs are very fast and good service it has a long way to go surely they will succeed if they keep up the level they are at.

Stay was good hospitality was good & food was also good

The hotels location is nothing given the price. Hotel jewel kongchen is half the price and has a much better view. This hotel is the most expensive hotel in lachung and can't even afford a proper electricity backup in winters. The reception area is cold and damp.

We reached during peak snowfall and were made comfortable in our rooms with bed warmers. The service was prompt and we were happy we chose yarlam

Got sick after eating dinner and breakfast in this hotel and take treatment from local militry hospital

This was surprisingly our best stay in sikkim. The hotel is decorated well in night and is not very crowded as well. We took the package including all the meals and we loved it all. We asked for the breakfast at 6:30 am and were provided some dishes from the breakfast before their original start time of 7 am. We liked the service, rooms and food.

We stayed here for one night. Rooms were good and clean. Heater was provided which was very useful. Good variety or options in food. Overall the hotel maintained good hygiene standards.

Highly over-rated hotel. Rooms are poor quality. Amenities are old. Hotel staff, barring the staff in the restaurant, are ill trained on handling customers. Hardly respond or sort issues. Would not recommend this place. Dont get carried away by pricing or past ratings. Be very careful.

This place was like a soothing balm after nine hours of bone-rattling journey over potholes and broken, often non-existent, roads from Lachen to Gurudongmar lake and then to Lachung that started at 6 in the morning. The greatest thing was that the hotel had full electricity back-up, covering even geysers and room heaters, which we missed in our hotel in Lachen a day before. Yarlam Resorts looks impressive, like a well-kept heritage property, from the outside and inside. There are paintings and old black-and-white photographs galore on its walls, depicting the history of Sikkim. We had a third/top floor room with an awesome view of the mountains. The fittings/furnishings were adequate, with electric kettle, tea sachets, running hot-and-cold water, etc. all that served our needs well for the two nights that we spent there. Don’t expect air-conditioning or lifts here. But unlike those hoary hotels in Europe, here there were enough bell boys happily carrying your bags to your room. Also, the room had both room heaters and electric bed warmers, which kept the room comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were all-buffet, with an adequate choice for such a far-flung place at almost 10,000 ft. altitude. Our request for a non-chilli dish for our son was met with alacrity and to our satisfaction. In fact, the most amazing thing about Yarlam is the infectious enthusiasm of its staff. We really appreciated the helpful attitude of the Chefs Govind Taman and Bibhuti, Jeevan Thapa, the Restaurant Captain, Salim the Steward, and Nikhil from Housekeeping. So, if you are looking to soak in some outstanding scenery in North Sikkim in the Yumathang Valley and at Zero Point, don’t hesitate to make Yarlam Resorts your base. There is nothing to beat the experience in Lachung!
