Stay was good. Parking is a problem, ended up with good visible scratch on my car. Everything is at walkable distance which is plus.

Pleasant stay at at a very nice and cozy hotel in white town with everything around. Very neat and clean and good staff.

Room was good, more spacious, toilet was super clean, near to beach good location. Breakfast is very average.

wonderful experience.even though an early check in was not possible,we were checked in on time and Richmond hotel gave us an free upgradation.Staffs are professionals.Hospitality and service was very good.very clean and aesthetically pleasing heritage vibes.Instagrammable.(I had already read in many reviews that its not possible to have an early check in hotels in pondicherry&it came true).

Location is very good in white-town and close by to everything to see. Also to the promenade. But hotel is very small. Room was good and good washroom. Breakfast very passable.

The room was of decent size but it had a strange smell. The staff attributed it to the wood panels. But not quite sure if that's accurate. They however, were helpful in providing room freshner.

Took the ground floor family room, the room was smelling with lack of ventillation. The breakfast spread and the food was worst. Staff were courteous ans helpful kudos to them. Too expensive for the amount we paid.

The Richmond is a nice destination at White town close to the beach. The rooms were very clean, staff cordial amd food was tasty with plenty of options. I wish that rooms should have been larger when they r charging five thousand rupees per day and the door lock needs to be replaced. Overall pleasant experience. Would recommend to all.

Location is good, food also good. Two nos of split ac with one remote arrangement was disturbing, made un comfortable. Service is nice, in house liquor & food is costly.

The property is very near to the rock beach. The room was compact and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and good service. The only drawback is parking however we have paid parking very near to hotel hardly 50 mtrs.

Central location. Cute rooms and nice interiors. Fridge, safe, kettle, toiletries provided. Basic standard breakfast spread, tasty. Only on street parking.

i had a very comfortable stay at the richmond hotel as a female solo traveler. the rooms were neat and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. the family rooms are impressively spacious, though the lack of windows might be a concern for those who prefer natural light. while the food could use some improvement, the room service was prompt and efficient. i appreciated the availability of hot water, which added to the convenience. the staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating, making the stay even more pleasant. the hotel’s location is its best feature—it’s close to all the important tourist spots and charming cafes, making it an ideal choice for exploring the area. overall, it’s a great place to stay with some minor areas for improvement. would recommend it for solo travelers and families alike!

Construction was going on for the entire night adjacent to our room. We lost our entire sleep. Room allotted was nice

I will review with the pros first followed by the not-so-great! 1. Location - The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing. With everything in White Town within walking distance. The Rock Beach is as promised a 5 minute walk away. 2. Staff - The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. We were travelling with a three year old and an eight month old; so it couldn’t have been more difficult than this! 3. Room - The room was spacious with adequate sleep space. The bathroom was clean. Though a bit of deep cleaning will improve the quality of the rooms. (I found two soft drink bottles from previous occupants below the table and the corners in the bathrooms need deep cleaning.) 4. Food - The in-room dining ordered was good. And the breakfast buffet on Sunday was excellent. The breakfast buffet on Monday was several notches below that on Sunday. (Maybe because of lesser number of occupants) 5. Parking - The major issue was with the parking as there’s no parking available with the hotel. There are parking places around the hotel but the availability of parking close to the hotel is upon your luck. The staff were helpful in assisting with finding parking slots. 6. Overall - In totality, it was a very pleasant stay.

We had a good stay in richmond hotel pondicherry. Staffs are hospitable. Locatiom was excellent- in white town & accessible to most of the tourists locations. Though they didn't give us a late checkout, they agreed to hold back our luggage. Breakfast was decent. Overall a pleasant stay.

Great stay, location was perfect, in the middle of the french town. And just walking distance from the beach. Stay was comfortable and rooms clean. Service was good.
