The Orchard

The hotel was good. But the reception staff's behaviour was horrible. I along with my friend, his wife and daughter were travelling from Pune to Ranchi and for a night stay we went to the hotel. At reception, Mr. Gopal Pathak, if i remember the name correctly, told us that couples are not allowed at the hotel. We felt so shocked and embraced. How can a person in the service sector deal in such an amateur way, without establishing the relation among the guests. We told the matter to the in charge, whose name I don't remember. He took the matter lightly and said it is the hotel's protocol. I am a frequent traveler and have never come across such a pathetic situation in any hotel. After realising their mistakes, they never bothered to apologise also. Horrible and pathetic soft skills of the front line staff.

From room to Breakfast everything was clean and hygienic, Staffs very well behaved from Reception to Restaurant

Very nice room, AC - Working table and Staff. Hotel has very rare paintings and beautiful atmosphere inside. Many statues of Ganesha, Durham ata, Goutam Buddha. Overall stay was Very awesome ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Good place , clean , properly maintained , good garden , staff are good , food a bit expensive , I have stayed earlier buffet was bigger spread but now it’s smaller but overall a good hotel for sure

Good hotel to stay. The plants around the hotel are fabulous filled with lot of oxygen around. Nice hotel to stay and for recommendation. The food in the restaurant was tasty and the bar was very cozy. Overall enjoyed my stay.

The rooms were comfortable, the ambience was great with a lovely garden for morning walk and the most pleasant experience was the dining experience with a cosy bar. Over all good value for money.

No, my experience at orchard was not good. The staff here does not care for the guests at all. The rooms are not clean. Old coffee pouches are given. I had to face a lot of trouble staying here.

Staying here whenever i am visiting jharsuguda or sambalpur. A very well maintained property. All staffs are well behaved.

Worst experience. Dirty swimming pool poor staff behaviour no response my whole life worst experience.
