Food Quality horrible we were served stale food, they have fixed menu but charges are very high, accessibility to hotel is not convenient you have park vehicle 500 meters away.

Great location. Peaceful and quiet. Great service too. The view is amazing from the rooms. Indian food was good.

The Kumaon is beautiful as the name/place - I will give my review in pros and cons Pros 1. Really beautiful property with a distinctive feel 2. ⁠Very courteous and helpful staff - Infact I came with an EV and the property and staff went out of way to arrange for a charging points - hats off to them 3. ⁠Views from the Room is mesmerising 4. Food quality and taste is amazing Cons 1. Very expensive 2. ⁠Approach road needs a lot of improvement 3. ⁠While food is very tasty, it lacks variety as it is fixed menu system 4. ⁠coz of price - will not come here again as it misses value for money. If price was bit reasonable, per the services being offered it will surely secure repeat customers

Our stay at the kumaon was nothing short of amazing. The views were phenomenal, from our room, facing the himalayan mountain ranges, as well as throughout the property. The abundance of flora and fauna was a pleasant surprise, especially when birds and butterflies are just a few feet away! The staff were very courteous and attentive; offering to make accommodations when requested. And engaging is pleasant conversation with guests throughout the day. Their service definitely made us feel pampered. I also fondly remember the food, especially the local fare, and all just the perfect portions. Every meal we had was expertly made, leaving us both full, and looking forward to the next meal. The spa experience was very professional and helped with much needed relaxation after long hikes. I understand that the kumaon is expanding their naturist knowledge and offering.

It was a delightful experience to stay at the kumaon, the service is awesome, the food is local and amazing and the property is just mind blowing.

Hospitality was beyond our expectations. Staff is better than taj or any other 5star chain in india. The architecture is aesthetically pleasing combined with the most stunning view and location, it makes the best weekend getaway. Special thanks to sid(manager) for making us feel so comfortable.

A perfect getaway ! a pure nature retreat

We stayed in the upper chalet (as per recommendations. Views are spectacular, do wake up early for them. Lunch/dinner thalis are really yum. Do go for the walks/treks that are organized by the hotel. Carry your own liquor (if you want) as the hotel doesn't have a bar, yet. Neeraj, restaurant & hotel staff are very helpful. Do have a cup of coffee/tea on the terrace of the restaurant and just relax.

The property is beautiful however, since the weather was hot and there was only one table fan. The day was not that great. The food is simple and nice however, the number of options are less.

The service is impeccable, value for money, extremely accommodating staff! we were at the property for 5 nights for our honeymoon and we couldn't have wished for anything more. Private, safe, beautiful and with views to die for.

Excellent stay, high safety standards. Great location & view, great for a peaceful getaway. The design of the room is clever, thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is excellent and their hospitality is overwhelming. The food is top-notch and the scenic dining area just adds to the charm of the experience. Highly recommended.
