Mohan's Binsar Retreat

First of all, its not located in Binsar but its on Binsar road. On entering it looks like a cafe which has been extended to a hotel. The rooms are located on different levels, so not suitable for aged people. Our room was clean and spacious but not suitable for the price charged, there was a construction site just adjacent to the property, so there was dust and noise. On request they stopped the construction work. The hospitality of the restaurant staff made the stay worthwhile, though the breakfast options could be better. All in all there are better options in this price bracket.

Pleasant stay with s beautiful green cafe. The location is awesome just a walking distance from kesar devi temple. The negative point is the maintenance of the room in terms of cleanliness of switch sockets and furniture.

I wish we could have stayed more ! We reached late because of traffic and then had to check out next morning. Had a soothing and beautiful experience!! The staff is very cordial. Loved the Kumaoni food especially

Location fine, evening food was good but missed variety, morning breakfast was average and lacked variety, old style rooms with too many stairs, staff was polite but reception kept asking for checkout even since 10:30 am.

Great service, room and just sitting on the balcony was meditative, birds and crickets sounds, cool breeze. Great nearby attractions like kesar devi temple, buddhist monastery and binsar wildlife sanctuary.

The food was decent. The stay is overpriced for the quality of services offered. We stayed in Kilmora room and pictures of the washroom that can be seen on the website are only for "luxury room". The washroom of Kilmora room looks like a Government run rest house. The restaurant area is above average, though among the best in the Binsar area.

We had a really nice stay as mohans binsar retreat. It very peaceful and very close to nature. Mr akhil was very helpful and available 24x7. Food was also very good

It is a wonderful property, staff is very courteous, excellent service, delicious food, ambience is superb, the view is breathtaking, will recommend to all visitors. This was the third time we visited the property. Look forward to many more stays. Gr8 service keep it up !

Mohan's binsar retreat is a secluded place for a few days stay away from the city of almora. Very close to kesar devi temple. I located the property through internet. Rooms are well furnished, neatly decorated, with lovely views of the valley. Amenities were excellent, services prompt. Food was of excellent quality, and hygiene maintained. Only drawback point is you cannot view himalayan peaks from your rooms

I had a very pleasant stay there for 02 days. Mohan bhai(owner, property location, staff and other things were absolutely perfect.

This is good hotel but room light and cleaning is little less. Overall good hotel to stay

The food options are quite limited and buffet comes across as average. there is construction going on in the property and the look around the first floor is quite shabby.

The room and the balcony was quite beautiful. The food, however, was not up to the mark. It was overpriced and not at all palatable. Room service was not quite prompt and the waiters weren't polite enough to knock on the door before entering.

Good location. Quiet. One of oldest and well know properties in kasardevi. Hotel food is good, especially indian, italian and chinese needs improvement. Overall good stay, owner mohan royal is friendly person. Restaurant of the resort: mohans cafe is popular locally as well.
