Was a comfortable stay with clean room and simple food.

We just stayed there for only one day, but it was a pleasant stay for us. The service is really awesome. They have responded on the spot. Food is also good. They offered us complementary breakfast, it is good and we had full stomach. I liked the coffee they offered in the morning, it had the typical South Indian coffee taste. The only problem we had is to locate the hotel. As there is no board in the main road, i ringed them thrice to get the exact location. But they guided me very well. The room is sufficient for two people. It is neat and clean. They have Wifi, it made us easy to connect or laptop in our room itself. Overall it is a good stay for us without any issues. Definitely i will recommend others to stay there. It is really a worth for the money. It is just opposite to the Thoraippakkam CTS Building.

Good service

We reached the Hotel at 9:30 AM and requested early check-in as the check-in time was 12 PM. We were denied and were made to wait at the reception till 11:40 AM. The lady at the reception was very arrogant saying that if you donÂ’t like the rules please donÂ’t visit again. Food quality was worst and the complimentary breakfast was as if 3 days stale. The TV in the rooms shows only south Indian channels so people visiting from other states should not expect Hindi or English channels. I visit Chennai frequently and had tried this hotel since it is close to IT Park. But I regret booking this Hotel.

Very bad location, in the middle of nowhere, and nobody (taxis, rickshaws) knows the place and the hotel ! Except the location, the hotel is very nice, pretty and comfortable.

The Hive is a beautiful hotel situated close to airport. Its fantastic design, cordial staff, calm and peaceful environment make the overall stay more enjoyable. Another positive point is the easy access to the venue of the hotel. Meanwhile, the rooms are not very big but are compensated with the design and pre-equipment.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in the budget category, 4 star facilities at budget rate. Excellent location, just off OMR and excellent facilities. I am impressed with the bed and cleanliness. Definitely recommend for a longer stay to anyone in OMR or ECR part of city.

This is the worst hotel experience for me. It took about 1.5 hours from airport to reach there as nobody knew the address properly. Finally, I found it inside a flooded area. At the hotel, there was no water in the toilet, no toiletries. I booked an extra bed but none was provided. The only person at the lobby had no idea what he was doing.

Value for money hotel but definitely not a 3-star hotel. It is a small hotel. I'd agree that it's a hidden gem.

A house is converted to hotel. Should be called a serviced apartment. We called twice to ask direction but no one picked the phone at reception. Only good thing was that room and bathroom were very neat and clean.

Being the forgetful/absent minded person I am, the hotel booking for my Chennai trip was not yet made. Luckily, I got guidance from a friend based out of Chennai. He asked me to book through MakeMyTrip.com. I was quite jittery as I had read a lot of negative reviews about this site but I went ahead as the recommendation came from my ex boss. My impression about the hotel and MakeMyTrip changed altogether the minute I arrived at the hotel. Thanks MakeMyTrip you made my trip really worthwhile!

Decent room. Need to upgrade on services and staff.

Was apprehensive when I booked the hotel through MakeMyTrip. But it was a good choice. Right on the OMR, with English/ Hindi speaking staff and peaceful area. It's definitely value for money with the MMT voucher of Rs.500. Worth a couple of days for business travellers.

This is a room in a hotel without any restaurant or food, disgusting.

Water problem and closet. Rooms were neat. 12 oclock check out not fair.

Small no extra facility

My overall experience was excellent stay at the hotel. I chose the hotel for the reasonable price and comfort. Staffs were cooperative. Food was also nice. Room facilities were value for money. I booked the same from MakeMyTrip.

Small and tough to classify as a hotel or service apartment. Not worth.

Don't try this hotel as these people do not have restaurant and will provide only toasted breads for breakfast. Poor parking facilities and no geyser at all. It's only solar heater water and doesn't get hot water only. Western toilet sucks and lights are poor

This hotel is NOT for tourist or those doing airport stays. It is over 20km away and the atmosphere is like a serviced apt without service. There was no tea kettle and staff was non- existent. They turned off all A/C in the building and if you left your room it was like a sauna. The one female staff did make attempts to please by providing fridge for our use and printing my boarding pass. But, arranging my taxi was a nightmare and the morning breakfast was basic. Nice paintings and boutique quality, but not for foreign travelers.
