We stayed at the Tea Nest Annexure Villa in the Basil Room.. and it was quite an experience. Amazing luscious tea gardens view and stupendous hospitality provided by Mr.Nithish at all times..This place was recommended by a school frnd & owner of Peppermint Holidays which is why I chose this place for my trip. Highly recommended place. Chef made yummy food with commendable taste. Really appreciate the staff which made our relaxing trip more worthwhile.

The hotel is beautiful and the property is very well maintained. The menu is extensive and every dish that we ordered was delicious. The staff is very helpful and cooperative. Excellent service and lovely experience.

Our stay at Teanest by Nature Resorts was memorable. The property is very well presented and will surely not disappoint any guest, and the staff there are extremely courteous and helpful. We enjoyed a wide variety of food from their restaurant too, especially the breakfast which had an authentic local touch. Extremely happy to have spent two nights at Teanest.

We had a wonderful stay at Teanest, Coonoor. The property is beautifully located amidst tea gardens, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the staff was courteous and attentive throughout our stay. The food was excellent, and the overall experience was both relaxing and memorable. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway.

The hotel is set in a stunning location, right in the middle of lush tea gardens, offering excellent views all around. The serene surroundings and greenery make it a peaceful escape from city life. Lunch and dinner were tasty, though not exceptional. That said, the location is quite remote, and the approach road becomes pitch dark at night — though it isn’t much of a challenge if you’re prepared. Facilities overall are average. The breakfast spread was poor, often served cold, and staff seemed more focused on closing the counter early than assisting guests. Room housekeeping was also below standard — basic bathroom amenities were not replaced daily unless specifically reminded. Additionally, the hotel is not kid-friendly. There is no proper play area for children, nor a separate kids’ menu available. Overall, the property’s beautiful views and peaceful surroundings are its strongest points, supported by decent meals, but service, amenities, and family-friendliness need significant improvement.

We took the big basil room. When the other reviews say there’s no space you better believe it. There’s hardly space to even step out of the cottage! Total rip off

Positives: 1. Great location – peaceful and well situated. 2. Tasty food – we really enjoyed the meals. 3. Clean and well-maintained rooms. 4. Staff and chef were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Areas of Improvement: 1. Ventilation & fan: Though the weather is cool, a ceiling fan in the room would be useful for guests who cannot sleep without one. Since the room was on the ground floor, we couldn’t keep the windows open due to people walking around, which made it feel suffocating. The stand fan provided later by the staff was very helpful – thank you for arranging that. 2. Food pricing: While mutton can understandably be priced higher, chicken starters felt slightly overpriced for a plate. 3. Room layout: The table near the TV is congested. While heating water and pouring, a coffee cup accidentally fell, and we were charged We understand the need to recover breakage costs, but the actual value of the cup would be much lower (like 50rs max). The lack of space contributed to the mishap. 4. Activities access: The bird-watching and tea estate visit were nice, but starting from Rosemary required us to walk uphill to reach the main Teanest before continuing. Arranging a vehicle from Rosemary to the main Teanest would make it more comfortable for guests. 5. Breakfast variety: The complimentary breakfast was limited. More variety would make it a better experience without needing to ask.

The property is away from any kind of traffic and has a wonderful drive along the tea plantation before entering the property, which has some of the cleanest views of classic Coonoor.

If you want to live in Conoor. This is the place to be. Conoor in a gist. Bird watching session by Mr. azad was excellent.His knowledge is superb about bot plantation and bird watching. Service is top notch. Welcome drinks and complementary food and beverages were equally nice. Every penny spent here was worth including the location, people and the food. Also foot massages for the ladies were complementary.

The stay was amazing. Given the location of Teanest, the experience was even more special. We stayed in Hibiscus, one of the suites in the annexe. From the hospitality to the service to the cleanliness and features of the room - everything was top class. The food is also amazing. Definitely coming back.

The property is located amidst tea plantations and is very serene. I visited in july end and got a good deal. The breakfast and high tea were really good. Room has smart TV, property has activities like nature walk, bird watching which was really good. The staff was polite and helpful.
