Royal Desert Camps

Royal desert camps is our staple every time we visit jaisalmer. and we choose to stayed with them only everytime we visit. There is something about their hospitality, manners, peace of mind and cultural experience we receive here, in the most subtle things separate from them from other sites and properties. atleast for us, coming here means experiencing the authentic ways, which they live up to. they choose to give you an authentic desert experience, rajasthani way then choose to be part of noisy shallow DJ show. right from the site to the staff, they give you an experience why people choose to come to the desert. staff as well, extra ordinarily supportive, courteous. hands down the rajputna hospitality leaves a mark in your hearts that is unforgettable. we have been visiting this facility from more than a decade. and everytime we will visit in the future, this is the property we will choose without considering any other option. as we have witnesses the difference of hospitality and manners between here and everywhere else. this has been our place in jaisalmer from more than a decade and as long as this exist, this will be our go to place and our first choice. it may not for many, but for us , it is very important how we are treated where we are staying. and nobody does it better then them in Sam. we are so happy that we brought our little daughter to experience what we have for long. love this place and will keep coming back here. this will undoubtedly be our go to place as long as it exist.

Out of all the camps nearby, this particular camp was the one with no other guest apart from us. They even didn't light up the camp in the evening since we were the only guests. They then asked us to visit another camp for meals and cultural programs. The host also q outed very high prices for the safari than the market price.

Food quality is not up to the mark

Bad experience. No value for money. Location was good. But services and food quality was very poor. Room service was very poor. Food quality was worst. This part is really needed to improve. But I think tent was not value for money.

Loved the tent and their service. All service people were very polite and helpful. Looking forward to staying at this place again.

No proper heating for room. We had to literally shiver through the night in sleep. Though desert safari was good, everyone in the group had gastric issues after consuming food from the place. The child and other member in group had vomiting and we had to go to hospital.

We had a wonderful experience here. They can arrange everything you want. Camel rides, keep tours, etc. You can easily walk to the desert. The dinner was very nice. Staff was great also.
It was an amazing tent in the desert. Staff was so friendly and the location was perfect.

Clean rooms and amiable staff. Location is best opposite to sam sand dunes.

Tent location on road. Clean and spacious Tent. Good food. Little higher cost compare to facility and other comparison. Entertainment activities are good and try to them best. However some more facility can be added compare to cost.

Average tent not very clean. Evening programme and snacks were good but dinner was so. They could do with more verity of items in the evenings entertainment. Breakfast was good but lots of flys. The dinning hall was not very clean.

Everything was fine, but they missed the most important element in hospitality and that is good quality food. We paid enough in which we can expect nice food. That was missing. We stayed there for 2 nights. And on 2nd day they kept the same food used on 1st night. That was embarrassing.

Location fantastic opp sand dunes, service very good, tastey food, We would love to visit again, We enjoyed lot in camel ridez and musical show also special kalbelia dance ,, and rajstjani songs, had great time

Good location just opposite to sand dunes. Good breakfast. Poor dinner. Rustic feel. Good ambience. Poor service. No room boys. Cheating by camp staff by insisting that we take only their safaris which is overpriced than market rate. Good cultural activity.

The resort was well located and since was with senior citizens made it easier to cross the road to the Sam dunes to see the sunset as well as sunrise. Hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. The evening program could have been with more variety but was still very enjoyable. Tent and toliet were well maintained

In short it was a lifetime experience. The desert safari on jeep was exciting. The camel cart ride in the evening to the sunset point and the view of the desert and sunset was once in a lifetime. The camel ride in the morning was excellent. The cultural programme in the evening was outstanding and the arrangement was very good.
