The World Backwaters

World Backwaters is a luxurious property available at reasonable rates. It is located on the lakeside with an expansive view of the Vembanad Lake. Beautifully maintained rooms which are really big sized and well maintained. The food is delicious and has a lot of variety. Staff is extremely professional, efficient, and courteous. Planning a trip to the back waters, must stay in your itinerary.

Place was really amazing. We had a wonderful stay + savory food + lake view. Speed boat is must try. We enjoyed a lot.

it was really a wonderful experience. I was there for 2 days along with my family and everyone enjoyed a lot whether it was food , hospitality, room cleanliness. . my both kids enjoyed swimming, basketball , archery cycling bad minton and swings. it s 5/5 star from me

A peaceful and tranquil stay with family over two days in Aug 25... excellent amenities and courteous staff helped ensure our every need was met promptly. Family enjoyed kayaking, cycling and swimming, as well as the house-boat cruise. Spacious rooms and delectable food are other highlights of the stay..

Had a great stay at The World Backwaters in Alleppey. The location by Vembanad Lake is amazing, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The property is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities like games and bikes for those who want to stay active. The infinity pool is beautiful, and the food was really tasty. Overall, a wonderful place for a family holiday. Highly recommend!

It’s a quaint clean pretty resort! The rooms on the ground floor are really good. However, try to avoid the rooms on the first floor specially if one is travelling with small children (the bath room on the first floor didn’t have anti skid tiles and the bathroom is weirdly designed). The ground floor rooms are good clean and well maintained. We really liked the food that was on offer, it was tasty and sumptuous. However, I have to point out that the service in the restaurant was quite lacking. There was a lot of miscommunication, numerous servers taking the same order. The food was delivered after half an hour and whatnot. The management should address the disconnect with the service staff. Anyway, if you are there then do take the early morning shikara ride and enjoy the sunrise views from the swimming pool!

We had a wonderful stay at the world backwaters resort. Service was excellent and the place is maintained well. Resort is located nicely in the banks of the vembanad lake in a serene setting. Rooms were spacious and clean. Activities available and amenities provided are really good, will cater for all age groups to have good fun and comfort. Staff were very courteous, took good care of the guests. Food was good and the buffet spread for breakfast and dinner was sumptuous. Thank you the world backwaters team for extending a comfortable and relaxed stay.
