Property location and maintenance is very beatiful, service and food is excellant. Staff is very coperative and hospitable and helpful.

first of all weak management. there is no one responsible for handling customers. The entire floor including reception and dining area has been left empty and there is no staff available. all the staff is busy managing the new property. The customers are being ignored in old property. In the middle of the night , there are 5-6 random people banging on our door and repeatedly pressing the door bell and asking room milega kya , room chahiye Hume. just imagine how disrespectful and annoying that would be. It was almost 1 at that time and we were even afraid to open the door and ask them not to ring the bells. lack of security, staff and mismanagement on the entire floor. there were no water bottles placed in the room when we arrived , and for basic needs like water we had to request the hotel guy at least 4 times. the service is too slow. they need to have better and trained staff.

I recently stayed at a beautiful resort in Lansdowne and absolutely loved the experience! The property is surrounded by lush greenery and serene mountain views, the perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the city rush. The rooms were clean, cozy, and tastefully done, and the staff was genuinely warm and helpful throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and the overall ambiance felt peaceful and refreshing. Whether you want to relax, enjoy the morning mist, or just soak in nature, this place is ideal for a getaway. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a calm, scenic, and rejuvenating staycation in the hills.

Helpful staff and management , Beautiful New property with amazing view and delicious food

excellent service and nice location

I never go for a resort by through roadside or in the market area. I want my stay ,a little away ,far from the madding crowd . That's why I chose the lanswood resort,perched atop a hill. The two minutes drive from the main road to resort is extremely steep but a fun drive for a good driver. Those who want to be near the market stay away from this place. I loved the Serenity and peaceful atmosphere around the property. The sunrise and sunset views from the balcony are the highlights of your stay here. If you value privacy,go for the cottage rooms with private balcony. The bathrooms are neat and clean so are the bedrooms and common space. The rooms are spacious enough and have basic amenities like tea maker etc. The food is another highlight of Lanswood. We found the food very delicious and had sufficient variety, given the location of the resort. The staff is well mannered and helpful. There was a problem with our shower Knob, but it was promply attended to by a plumber.With the upcoming swimming pool, games room , fitness centre etc.,it will be a complete resort.

ideally located and quiet well appointed property. staff is very helpful and the kitchen staff specially the main cook is amazing. met the owner and they turned out to be excellent hosts. A superb experience on the whole

This is Lanswood Estate, the place where I lived for 2 nights and 3 days with my family. The stay was very good and pleasant. ​Especially the rooms were very nice with good wooden finishing and they were well maintained. Also, there is an attached long balcony from where I could enjoy the view of mountains, and I enjoyed the sunrise and sunset views from my balcony. ​The breakfast was very good, and they offered many varieties. The dinner was also very nice. They have a proper dining room for eating, and they will also send food to my room if I want. ​One more special thanks to the staff members, they all were very kind and very helpful.

Food could have been better!

They view from the property is amazing. Friendly and cooperative staff. Good food. Overall it was 10/10. They are building up more rooms and other luxary facilities. I will highly recommend to stay.

From the moment we checked in to the property till we checked out, everything was great. Service was too good , Staff is very humble and well trained. The Owner and the Staff treats you like their own family. And the most important thing food was fresh and very tasty. They are building an infinity pool also in the property so will visit again once it's completed.

We stayed at this property during our recent trip to Lansdowne. It’s located slightly off the main route and uphill, which may not be ideal for inexperienced drivers. The property itself is quite picturesque and offers a true wilderness experience. The food was good and the caretakers were warm and hospitable. We had booked two cottages — while they looked aesthetically pleasing, the overall room quality didn’t quite match the price point. Basic amenities could be improved. One of our major concerns was safety. The property isn’t enclosed, and our cottage doors opened directly onto forested terrain. It’s very possible (and not at all surprising) to find monkeys or other wildlife right at your doorstep in the morning. This could be exciting for some, but may feel unsettling for others — definitely a matter of personal preference. Another drawback was the absence of staff on-site during the night. With no mobile network and only Wi-Fi available, the caretaker suggested we contact them via WhatsApp for any emergencies — a bit concerning in case of an actual issue. When we visited, we were the only family staying on the hilltop, which further amplified our safety concerns. There was also ongoing construction work, and the property seemed openly accessible to workers, which didn’t help ease our discomfort. That said, the owner was responsive over phone and respectful of our decision to cut our stay short due to these concerns. Overall, the experience was definitely adventurous — just not the kind of adventure we had in mind! We had hoped to enjoy a cozy dinner in the beautiful dining space, but unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be. No hard feelings, just wish the stay had felt a bit more secure and populated during our visit.

room is good but with very few amenities.Basic amenities like body wash and lotion were missing. Though we carry our own. Food is average. dinner took almost one hour to serve. one suggestion for the property that they should offer some activities for the guest to explore.

Nice hospitality by staff with delicious food. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Tea quality and taste can be improved..

location was a bit issue as the hotel is situated on a height with 1.5 KM turning way, so going by car was difficult. Rest the hotel views are beautiful, hotel rooms and outdoor in itself is having beautiful look, food is average, and staff is supportive
