The Oak Grove Inn

We had an absolutely comfortable and delightful stay at this homestay. The property itself is beautiful, offering breathtaking vistas from every angle – the view was truly amazing! We especially appreciated the delicious food, which was not only incredibly tasty but also very reasonably priced. What truly set this experience apart was the host. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Her warmth and hospitality was exceptional. A unique highlight was the opportunity for trekking right next to the property. We enjoyed a refreshing hike to a nearby village, which was a fantastic way to explore the local area. Overall, this homestay offers a perfect blend of comfort, natural beauty, and genuine hospitality. We left feeling refreshed and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

I stayed at the property for 2 nights. Oak Grove Inn is one of the best Home stays near Lansdowne. It is 5 KMs from Lansdowne, which makes it at a convenient location from city. The valley view from all the rooms are amazing. The staff is cooperative especially Jeet Singh. The owner , Mrs Neelam Rawat is very helpful and talks to each and every guests. She sits with all the guests staying at the property. The property is well maintained and has greenery all around. Beautiful fruits trees and flowers are everywhere. The rooms are neat and clean. Food is made on order and is like homemade. Overall I enjoyed my stay with my family. Would love to visit again in winters.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The entire place was spotlessly clean, creating a peaceful and comfortable environment throughout my stay. What truly made this visit exceptional was the friendly atmosphere and the amazing service. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home, and a special mention must go to Neelam ji, the host, who was absolutely awesome. Her kindness, attention to detail, and personal touch made all the difference. The food was another highlight – delicious, fresh, and clearly made with love. Every meal felt like home-cooked comfort with a touch of local flavor.

Amazing property, amazing hospitality, amazing food! great view from the homestay. Rooms were neat and clean however washroom needs a lil maintenance.

I was just looking for a place to stay for taking rest from work. The silence and beautiful ambience helped me in getting much needed rest. The food 🍲 served was homely and hygienic. The hosts were pleasant and would prefer to stay there again.

Was not happy with the stay here. Room was not kept properly, washrooms were poor, towels seemed filthy. There was a single bed too in the room the bedsheet of which was stinking. Asked hotel person to replace the same which he refused to do as they did not have any more bedsheets. Food was separately charged and was of poor quality. Too much salt in veggies. Dal was not tasty. Breakfast was super bad. A loo parathas cooked in low quality oil. Curd seemed like fevicol. Was too sticky. Not seen such curd in my life. Coffee was good though. All this at a cost of approx 5000 including breakfast and dinner for 3 people does not make any sense. This is managed by an ex army personal and so such mismanagement is even more unforgivable. Have stayed in such good home stays in almora and bhimtal and thus this was real disappointment. Bad stay. Wouldn't recommend.

The location is good and the view is awesome from the window. The resort staff was also very friendly and helping. Neat and clean rooms, bathrooms and gr 8 hospitality. The food quality and taste was also out of the world. The only problem we faced was with the wifi. Rest all was awesome.
