Hotel Kanika Ladakh

Our stay here was really amazing. The staff is so helpful & kind, we felt like we were at home - they kept checking on us & made sure we had a comfortable stay. The food was out of the world - each meal was a delight. There’s also a dog (Izzy) on campus who is the sweetest being. The staff also arranged the bike for our Ladakh tour - we didn’t have to step out for anything. We were at Kanika when all flights got cancelled due to the escalating situation between India & Pak - the Hotel Kanika Ladakh owners took special care of us - they went out of their way to figure out road travel arrangements. They even dropped us to our tempo traveller pick up point at 5 in the morning since no other cab drivers were operational in Leh at that time. We stayed with them during both, the beginning & the end of our Ladakh trip - it was a blissful experience & we always felt really well taken care of. Would always stay here whenever we visit Leh in the future as well.

We stayed at Hotel Kanika Ladakh kanika recently and found all the amenities in good form. Room and attached bathroom was neat and clean. Bedcover, quilts and towels were properly washed. Loma, her sister and all the other staff were very cooperative and well mannered. She helped us in booking taxis for sightseeing and for nubra to pen-gong also with confirmed booking of our stay in camps. All the best to the Hotel Kanika Ladakh staff and to the prospective travelers staying there as we strongly recommend it for a nice stay.

Everything you can think of is taken care of for you. I needed to stitch up a jacket seem and they insisted on doing it for me. Helped in everything I needed and even suggested things I had not thought about. The room was clean and properly appointed. Huge soft bed and perpetual hot water in the shower. The food in the restaurant reminds me of home cooking. Tasty and healthy at the same time. Made with love. I extended my stay by two days just because I felt so at home. Thank you Kanika 🙏

It was a nice and comfortable stay. There is an adjacent restaurant that caters to requirements of guests. The Hotel Kanika Ladakh has amenities to arrange for sightseeing if contacted for notable places like Pangong Lake, Leh Place, Shanti Stupa, Army Museum, Leh Gurudwara, confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers etc. To summarise, it was a nice experience. 8/10.

Excellent value for money Hotel Kanika Ladakh. Room was big, well maintained and clean. Hotel owner was very proactive and considerate to ensure a good stay. Location is good, with the leh market about 12 - 15 mins walk away. Welcome drinks were provided. Hotel has a pretty lawn with common sitting area. Breakfast was tasty and in sufficient quantities.

Clean rooms, the reception was extremely hospitable. We came to the Hotel Kanika Ladakh after lunch from hours at the airport, and the reception was kind enough to arrange a basic lunch. Also our flight out was very early, so they arranged for tea and toast early by 6:45 am. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for three days from 7th june. Environment beauty and greenery impressed us. Room was cozy with amazing view of mountains. Food was great. They even served us local cuisine. On the top, dealing people are so happy faced, we became like friends.
