very bad experience in this hotel, hotel full tha to dusre hotel me bhej diya. customer support bhi nhi mila, at mid night

When we went to the hotel they refused to give us a room and told us that there was no room. After that the room they gave us was not good. So I will never book a room again and will tell my friends too about it.

On 27.11.2024, I checked in Hotel Grand Fortune 226 Queens Road Amritsar which was booked earlier and payment made on line. After checking in I asked for shaving and dental kits which are supposed to be provided by the Hotel manager. Person Manning reception refused stating that guests are not given these items. I then went to the market and purchased the kits. I left the hotel for attending a function and arrived late night. It is worth mentioning that the hotel lift was not working. I was allotted room number 204 at second floor and I had to use stairs till my departure. I m 70 plus so this was an uphill task for me to go up and down. In the morning around 8 o'clock I came down for breakfast. But I was surprised to see a person lying on sofa with a blanket around. The reception was unattended. I enquired from him for place where breakfast was to b served. I was shocked to know that chef has not arrived and the breakfast will be served at 9.30 morning. Infact timings for breakfast are generally 7.00 am to 10 am in the hotels. But here things were different. I was sent breakfast in the room around 9.45 am. Two plain pranthas, two sandwiches, some pickle and and a cup of tea which was cold, were served. I took only one prantha. Sandwiches were giving foul smell so I left them. I checked out around 11 o'clock. I have explained my nightmare and want that appropriate action be taken against the hotel management for flouting hotel industry norms.

Lift is not working. Room is not cleaned. Matters is broken. Makemytrip charged for breakfast but there is no arrangement of breakfast in hotel. Terrible experience. Even no arrangement of tea in room not in hotel. Nevar book this hotel

Very good staff and all. All services are valuable. Thankyou garand. Rooms are very good furnished and maintained.

I asked for a extra blanket for that i have to wait 3 hr at night. I was ready to pay extra amount but nobody was there to assist me. Every time the receptionist was saying 10 minutes. Over all experience was not good. But room was clean. Thankyou

The will charge extra for my experience don't travel in hotel grand

The managers were unprofessional. They tried to move us to another facility (2km away but they said it was only 500mts away) saying that the room we booked and paid for is already occupied. We were 3 people and asked for an extra two towels, they did not even care. Also riding the elevator is safe as jumping from a 5 storey building. The room was also not worth 2000 per night. Only the lobby is dressed up to look nice. Also the heater did not work. We went in winter.

It was a good stay overall in terms of cleanliness, service and the staff. Thanks for the good hospitality

1. This hotel is not for family, its not safe. 2. Rooms have lots of rats and everywhere on bed, chair, table. 3. Tourist travel-ling on their own vehicle should avoided because they dont have an inch of parking space, they make you to park vehicle on main road, and from there you have to go from a narrow passage of 10feets, if you take your vehicle in that passage you will stuck their for hours. Overall not recommend. Dont book it.

It was not at all a good stay. Very unhygienic. Ant, insects were around every room. I even complained about the same. Ants were all over my luggage. I booked it with breakfast but they don't have any restaurant. They gave us just two options for two days all u pratha and plain sandwich which i believe the cost is very high as it's a low maintened rooms. Will never book again. Really upset with makemytrip as well
