Greenwood Nature Camp is an all-inclusive environment-friendly nature camp located in the dense and secluded Mudumalai National Park, a comfortable drive from Bangalore.

  • All guests are provided with a welcome drink and can indulge in a royal breakfast buffet every morning during their stay.
  • Kids activities are designed and arranged for children and even their families to engage the little ones.
  • The entire resort is pet friendly, thus allowing families with any furry friend to find relief from their worries of finding a temporary home for them.
  • Barbecue and outdoor fireplaces create an ambience of celebration whilst embracing the silence of the recused setting.
  • The 2-bed European Tented Cottage covers 250 sq. ft. of space and accommodates up to 3 adults. They come in both 1 double bed, or 2 twin-sized beds. The rooms are equipped with all standard amenities and toiletries. Guests can avail room service or laundry services at their wish.
  • The luxurious Family Cottage covers a sprawling 396 sq. ft. The rooms also offer a serene and uninterrupted view of the forest, whilst covering the basic amenities and toiletries. These rooms have an individual balcony and seating space.
  • The Standard Family Cottage is ideal for couples or a family of three. It can either have a king-sized bed, or 2 twin-sized beds. These rooms also boast of a comfortable seating area, complete with chairs, and a spaced-out private balcony.
  • A group of friends would find the 4 Bedded Cottages ideal, accommodating up to 5 adults. Apart from the standard amenities, the rooms come with blackout curtains/drapes to create a comfortable sense of privacy for the guests.

Activities & Nearby Attractions

  • Wildlife enthusiasts are always astounded by the 200-square-mile wildlife sanctuary and national park open since 1940. It is well admired and journeyed for its tiger reserve.
  • Guests can enjoy a thrilling elephant ride just 13.6 km away at the Theppakadu Elephant Camp. They can even watch feedings and try and decipher the behaviour of the majestic beasts.
  • A panoramic view of the Nilgiris is the highlight of the Needle Rock View Point (16.2 km). Already established hiking trails are an added bonus for hitchhikers.

Greenwood Nature Camp is situated in the heart of the Mudumalai National Park- a whole 137 km from the Coimbatore International Airport and 101 km from the Kozhikode International Airport in Calicut.The Gudalur Bus Stand is only 7.3 km from the camp or guests can even drive up there from Bangalore (5-hours) .

Scenic resort in the lap of nature

Spent one day on 22nd april/22. As the name justifies you can see a herd of deer grazing and resting close to the nature. Very close to the forest. Small property with few rooms gives you a homely feel. Weather is cold and pleasant all the time. Although acs are installed they are nonfunctional rather you don't need that. Well ventilated rooms which are neat and clean. Good homely cooked food. Misty morning is beautiful. Approach road is little bumpy. Misty morning is very scenic. Mobile networks available with wifi. Recommend for family and friends to relax in a natural environment.

The location was very good, peaceful and calm. The room was so spacious and comfortable with all modern amenities. The staff behavior was so good, they are very helpful, friendly and cooperative. Cleanliness and facilities were super. The property was suitable for everyone and I must recommend the property to others.
