Clarks Inn in Badami boasts a prime location near popular attractions like the Badami Caves and market area, making it convenient for sightseeing. However, many guests reported cleanliness issues, poorly maintained amenities, and slow service. The restaurant faced criticism for food quality and limited options, particularly during breakfast. While staff were often described as polite and helpful, numerous reviews highlighted a lack of training and responsiveness amidst long wait times for orders. Overall, it appears to be a mixed bag for visitors.

it's not a Clarks Inn property !!!
First thing first, it's not a Clarks Inn property. It's a 2 star property using Clarks name. Property is located in main market circle, so expect noisy surrounding. Interior and furniture are old and in bad shape. In house restaurant is average. Overall just ok for an overnight stay. Nothing worth mentioning

Very bad experience do not recommend this hotel. For stay lot better options are available at Hospet compare to Badami.

Good Stay
Clarks Inn is located in main road of Badami town, very easily accessible and rooms are well maintained, staff very well approachable and was helpful. restaurant needs better up keep, make it more accessible with more menu, whatever is listed in menu is either being told not available or out of stock. Being one of top rated stay needs food quality to be improved.

Poor Stay
I stayed at Hotel Clarks Inn, Badami, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. First, I discovered that booking directly with the hotel would have been cheaper than using MMT—something that was quite disappointing. The room lacked basic amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this category: there was no refrigerator, no hair dryer, and not even proper toiletries like shampoo or conditioner provided. The food was another major letdown—very limited options and absolutely tasteless. It felt like an afterthought rather than a proper dining experience. On the positive side, the hotel's location is convenient, especially for sightseeing in and around Badami. The bed was comfortable, and overall cleanliness was decent, which helped slightly redeem the stay. Overall, not recommended unless improvements are made in amenities and food quality.

Terrible Stay
There is no branding of Clarks Inn, photo in shown image is different when we reached the location. No proper man power in hotel for luggage pickup. No proper parking. No proper room maintenance, no iron box, bathroom door lock broken, bathroom unhygienic, security gaurd party time duty of selling papaya in street. Restaurant food was good but no food available in restaurant listed on menu. AC leakage. Lift door doent close even after multiple attempts. Bed was not good at all. Not worth for the given money. Better options available in Badami.

Not as good as our first sta
This was our second stay at Clarks Inn, Badami. Unfortunately, this time the experience fell short of our expectations. The room assigned had an uninspiring view, was located on a less preferable floor, and had maintenance issues like a leaking hand shower and an unclean toilet. Additionally, the room service was quite slow, and unlike our previous visit, there was no buffet breakfast – we were offered à la carte instead, which limited the variety. We hope the management takes note and improves on these aspects.

High Price Poor Rooms and Poor Servic
The Hotel has degraded significantly as of now compared to what it was few years back. Room was not clean, bathroom was dirty, toiletries were not present and even room cleaning does not change anything to improve cleanliness and hygiene. Restaurant is in pathetic condition. tables are dirty, chair covers stink, food delivery is extremely slow. food taste is ok, nothing specific to complain about. Reception staff is good but they have a horrible policy of charging huge money for 3 hours early check in. hotel staff is very slow but is polite(that does not help due to other problems).

Terrible Stay
If there was an option to give a rating with negative numbers, I would have chosen that. My stay at Clarks Inn, Badami, was nothing short of a nightmare. The customer service was absolutely pathetic, and the amenities were far from what was promised. It was definitely not worth the money I paid. To begin with, there was no hot water in the morning for a bath. I called reception and housekeeping multiple times, but no one answered. I even used the call-back option, and surprise—no one called back. The breakfast situation was a complete joke. Not only was it delayed, but they also canceled the buffet breakfast altogether. Instead, we were served a salty omelette with bread and some terrible tea/coffee. I’ve had better food at roadside eateries. The restaurant captain Sudeep was arguing about everything instead of apologising, worst customer service!!! The rooms were dirty having dead cockroach, no towels (had to ask twice to replenish). I deeply regret booking a stay at Clarks Inn, Badami. I will never be returning and strongly advise anyone considering this place to think thrice!

Its very costly as compared to service they offer. They even charged us for 1 hour early check in. Rooms are smaller than standard we get in the same price range. But we choose this as we dont had any option within the range. One thing is best about the hotel is that their heart of the city location

Average Experience at Clarks Inn, Badami Clarks Inn, located conveniently close to the Badami Caves and around 7-8 minutes from the Banashankari Temple, has the advantage of location but falls short in many other aspects. The hotel lacks adequate parking facilities, which can be inconvenient. The view from the property is unimpressive, and the staff, though polite, has limited language proficiency. The manager appeared indifferent, showing little interest in engaging with visitors. The food was average at best, and the delayed serving time added to the disappointment. The condition of the rooms was another letdown—poorly maintained, not very clean, and basic toiletries were provided only upon request. While the air conditioning worked fine, the room lighting was inadequate, especially at night, making it unsuitable for tasks like working on a laptop. On the brighter side, the location makes it a convenient base for exploring nearby attractions like the Badami Caves and Banashankari Temple. However, considering the cost for a stay here, the overall experience felt underwhelming. For a city like Badami, where expectations for accommodation aren’t too high, Clarks Inn still falls short of delivering value for money.

Poor servic
Service is terrible, they took almost an hr to send 2 water bottles. Very pathetic room service, I almost went down to reception twice or thrice to ask about my room order, as restaurant was not picking up phone. No dinner arranged till 8:30 pm. Same menu everyday in breakfast and dinner. They need to improve food taste. no tissues available on table, they will not serve water unless asked. I would not recommend this hotel for badami one can check for sterling or Badami court, which we couldn't book due to full occupancy.
