Never ever book homestay

When i reached the location after an advanced booking with full payment, the gate of the homestay was closed and it was written under maintenance. When i called the property they said you have to cancel your booking. Neither in mm t it was shown "room not available as it is under maintenance " nor the person who is managing the homestay told about that when i had contacted him before booking with full payment. So i learned from my journey never to go for a homestay ; booking a hotel is much more safe. Finally thanks to the mm t customer care who responded immediately and booked another hotel nearby (as per my request) and paid the extra amount ( the hotel booked costs double from my booking)
