Hotel Abirami Residency

Troublesome check in. We had booked for an executive room on MMT much prior, but the room was t available at the time of check in. They said they upgraded the room but we had lot of issues like lot of power cuts! Struggling in humid climate of Pondicherry without ac ! The hotelier response was very poor. The night sleep was completely disturbed . Also , the next door man kept shouting throughout night due to d power cuts and it wasn’t dealt with appropriately! N the worst of all, the topmost floor some repair work , loud drilling sounds were on through the day as they were constructing some swimming pool . On asking they had no remorse !! All this happened with one senior citizen being with me. Had the worst experience of all till date. Can never trust the MMT rating too i realised. Hope hm this dating serves some purpose ! Hotel outer look is wonderful. Room wise needs much more maintenance. Restaurant is awesome. If they maintain the amenities and electronics will be fine

Poor service in Helpdesk staff, out of ten we will give 4 stars to help desk staff. Out of 10 star to given only for entrance security guards .

The bed was as hard as a concrete slab. Was given a room on the first floor and the conference room is also on the same floor, the entire afternoon the aisle was filled with noisy kids. The only good thing about the hotel is, reasonably good parking and a restaurant

I booked 2 adults, + 2 kids only provide double card for four members. It is a too small. I asked him receptionist. They told to 950 for extra bed and I asked additional blanket.They told me 10 minutes to bring I wait, but they not bring after one and half hour. I called again, they bought

Had average stay experience. The rooms are okay, however, they directly open to lobby area resulting in outside noise coming inside rooms and lacking enough noise insulation. Ideally, rooms should open to a foyer area and toilet thereby resulting in better insulation from outside noise.

Room was clean and spacious enough for a couple. Bedsheet had some spots. Not cleaned properly. Bathroom had a towel as mattress which had a bubble gum on it.

the ac wasn't working properly, it couldn't cool the room at all. shower wasn't working properly. No smart TV.

Nice location and a decent hotel at reasonable price. Veg restaurant only. However all hotels available nearby. Staffs are very helpful. Would recommend for others.

We had booked two rooms for two nights stay. The hotel is located near the shopping area and walkable distance to the Aurobindo ashram and the beach. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We could not watch' tv in both the rooms. Problem with the cable connection. Complained about it at the front desk. They tried but couldn't rectify it. veg.restaurant at the ground floor. We did not opt for the complimentary breakfast, so couldn't comment on that. We had lunch and dinner which was good. The property has basement parking for five cars and portico parking for three cars. Plus they have parking facility for twelve cars at a distance of 100 feet from the property. Except for the TV it was a good stay.

Our experience at Abirami Residency was far from pleasant. The AC in our room was not working, and despite repeated complaints to the staff, they never fixed it. It was an old, poorly maintained unit, making our stay uncomfortable. Additionally, basic amenities were overpriced—even water bottles were charged at an unreasonable rate. The breakfast spread was extremely limited, offering hardly any variety. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening, and it was a huge disappointment—the food was bland and of poor quality. The only positive aspect of this place is its location, but apart from that, there is nothing worth recommending. Definitely not worth the money—would not stay here again.

The hotel rooms are not clean,bad odour is there in the room, bathroom fittings are leaking . The toilet seat ring was broken

My stay was terrible as the room that i booked for was too costly and it was totally filled with Mosquitoes. we can't even sleep peacefully. Moreover, we have shower issues which have delayed our plan for more than 3 years.

Room was spacious with all amenities mentioned. Very clean. Loved it!

location is very convenient with many options nearby. walking distance to rock beach. food is very delicious and parking is available.

Hotel property at prime location but not maintained well. Changed two rooms, ac was not working in one and was making loud sound in other. Also both ac were infected. Service was dam slow. Mosquitoes were in the room , empty allout provided on asking after 1 hour of waiting. Spend full night in ac room without ac.

The room was clean. But tv was not working in one room. Calling bell not working and no kettle in room. Food was good. Fan regulator also had some issues.

We are family of 3. Husband wife and 4year old kid. We stayed for 2 nigh But the reception guy said only queen bed. . The lights in the room were dull. The TV remote was not working. And the wash basin in the toilet was leaking. Even after informing only tv remote problem was solved. At night I was not able to control the temperature of the AC. One needs to off the AC change the temperature and on the AC. AC was loud when fan speed was increased. IIt’s not worth the rooms. It’s near to French area, white street. Food is good but not many options for breakfast. Need maintenance. It’ll be a good stay after that. Staff said me that they would change the room for the second day. But even they didn’t ask about it and I as I left in the morning for site seeing and came at night

Overpriced hotel. 0 services as per the price.

The arrogant behaviour of front office staff manager and type of room differentiation was visible and same type of room accomodation provided for different capacities and also refrigerator was not working. Wallet parking and parking area cleanliness is very poor
