Bison Valley Cottage

This hotel is located inside a tea estate. Super view. Great location. The room quality is below average. The beds are not good. No toiletries provided(even after asking for the same). Hotel staff are courteous. Food is fine. Breakfast is complementary rest of the meals you have to pay for. This place is far from the city so go prepared with all your stuffs. Power can go off in heavy rain and it might take quite some time to get it back as it happened in my case. In spite of these negatives I would still recommend this hotel because of its super location, serene, calm, for nature loving people. You also have an option of Bonfire and trekking with a guide.

Bison valley is literally "Bison" Valley. Located in the midst of tea plantations it's a place where you can get yourself lost in nature and the staff were polite and kind. The vegetarian meal was delicious and wholesome and this comes from a non-veg aficionado. Strongly recommended for nature lovers. Accessibility is a problem and plan your trip since going to and fro to town would be cumbersome.

The road is very bad for travelling if you going in a sedan or higher. The market is at least 10km away from the place. Even though service was okay but the food policy is bad. Won't recommend unless you wish seclusion.

The cottage is in a place, where people who need to be away from the disturbances of city life, would absolutely adore. Besides, the personnel are very helpful and obliging. I would never hesitate to recommend it to my friends. I wanted to go back to tea tourism and this was exactly the place I was looking for. I got what I wanted and more of it in the form of energy.

I had a wonderful experience staying in "Bison Valley Cottage". Though the room was basic, it had beds which were clean and comfortable and attached bathroom was neat with clean towels. The highlight of this cottage was the location where I had an awesome view of a valley full of vegetation and tea plantations and the frequent mists gave me a whole new experience. The caretaker was very friendly and was taking care of us in every possible way and the food was very tasty. Overall, it was an experience worth remembering and I am planning to visit again soon.

Had been in Bison Valley. Nice location and atmosphere. Hospitality, Care and Service is commendable. Relaxing place for business people. Food is good. Good place for family. More value less cost.

Absolutely loved the stay! As the rooms in bison valley were full, they've given us a room in Madawa row rooms which was in palaniappa tea estates. It's a perfect get away for people who want to stay away from the hustle bustle of the town. It's located amidst beautiful tea plantations. The service was really great and the staff were super sweet and helpful. The food makes you feel like you're at home. I wouldn't mind going there again at all.
