The location is a little far if traveling from Bangalore. But its amidst pristine tea estates and the drive between Ooty and property is amazing

Very beautiful and scenic location... food is great as well. Only downer is dinner has to be finished by 9.30 PM..cannot be taken to the room, plus no Internet.. no wi fi nor telecom data as signals are very week.

The property is stunningly pretty. Located in a 120 acres of organic tea plantation, where the tea grows almost wild without the use of any chemical fertilisers or pesticides. The entire plantation is covered with lush forest, with an abundance of wildlife. Perfect place to log off the internets and switch off the phones! the property has a couple of colonial cottages and a recently constructed modern cottage, all very nicely blended with the surrounding nature. Most of the plantation can be explored, and they also provide binoculars and field guides to help identify all the birds you see on the property. The manager, mr. Prashanth is also a certified naturalist and conducts guided walks in and around the property. We basically, didn’t step out of the property for the entirety of our stay there! all the rooms are comfortable, well appointed, clean and professionally maintained. Everyone on the small staff is very friendly and helpful, and they make you feel at home immediately. The experience is completely unlike a hotel or resort, and more like a homestay you visit frequently. You feel right at home, right away! finally, one cannot review o’land without mentioning their chef gokul. Gokul’s food accounts for at least one of the stars in my five star rating of o’land. Overall, i highly recommend o’land if you’re looking for a quiet peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of the city. I know, i would definitely return soon!

The place is amazing. No second thought about it. But they need to work on other facilities like brighter light in the verandah, tv connection, reachable dining area, hot water, more options in food. The water in the bathroom is lukewarm in such chilly weather. All night there were sounds on the roof which was very scary. The dining area is far from your stay and you really need to climb so much just for the basic food. It’s very scary with those sounds and minimal and almost zero candle light in the verandah.

It was really a great place to relax and be with nature. The stay was awesome and host were welcoming. Food was good, room was neat and clean.

My weekend stay at o land plantation far exceeded my expectations, setting a new benchmark, far better than the upscale tier 1 resorts i've visited. Their warmth and genuine care made a short two-day visit seem like an extensive, rejuvenating week. It was a wonderful experience staying in o land plantations. A good place for birding and the place has a good mammal diversity also. The rooms were clean and good, the food was good and the drive to the plantation is also amazing.

1. No electricity 2. No hot water 3. No room service 4. No internet or wifi. Such high price for this mediocre property

Jam-es n team will make sure to take you to bird watching and estate rounds. The villa rooms are spectacular and neatly arranged. The food is just icing on the cake. Overall a must visit place when you’re are in coonoor.

Our journey to o land plantation was really nice and very scenic. The room was nice but very basic in nature. Bathrooms were nice as well. Views are lovely and calming. Later during the night it gets very boring. The food options are limited and a bit overpriced. The caretakers are quite ok. Over all it was not a fabulous stay, but just an everage one atleast for us.

I have a very bad experience with this hotel. No cook was available. Also food quality was pathetic. Also far from city with no transport arrangement. If some help/medical emergency you have no way out. Also they are charging very high. Overall waste of money,

The place is located amid-st lush green forest. A must visit place for nature lovers wanting to spend quality time with friends and family. The staff were very friendly and accommodative. Rooms are nice with good ambience. Food was good. Limited varieties in breakfast. However good spread for dinner. Highlights: location with sound of bird chirping, water in the nearby stream, fresh air and greenery. The morning trek led by sam. Spotted the horn-bill bird and many others. Lowlights: remote, poor network, food can be better, limited seating in dining room. Can introduce indoor games. Overall great place to stay

Stayed at this beautiful property nestled in a gorgeous plantation in coonoor. We enjoyed the drive towards the property which in itself was quite the adventure. O land is a calm and quiet property not housing more than 20-25 people at a time. I would call it more of a home stay than a resort, because of the homely feels.

One of our friend had to be taken to hospital late at night and seam had been of utmost help, we were just two girls, in the middle of night, our friend had to be taken to hospital and seam took us to coimbatore. A ton of thanks to that person without whom we would have literally broken down.

The property is really cut off from the main road and it’s an hours drive from the nearest town. The manager while checking in insisted on aadhar card, even though driving licence was a valid id as per booking. After asking why aadhar card was needed, the manager who was extremely rude, said that it is because the nearby police station collects documents of all people staying there since it’s a maoist area. I had traveled with my wife and child and we decided that it was best to leave the place since we didn’t want to take a risk especially since it’s so cut off. I wanted to cancel and they and make my trip service also was not helpful to get it sorted immediately and it took a month for me to even get a reply regarding the cancellation. Better to stay away from such places

We visited o land in oct 2023. 4 adults + 1 child and stayed for 2 nights what we liked: the look & feel of the place, rustic and embedded in nature, large rooms with sitting areas, away from the city hustle bustle and beautiful valley views when one approaches the property. Food was freshly prepared and portions were liberal. What can be improved: lighting in the rooms was very low after sun sets. One could barely see things around. Food. Was average in taste, although the team worked hard on it. First day we didn't get any hot water for our baths. There was no phone network (except bsnl and some bit of jio) no internet. So it was difficult to keep connection with folks back home or attend to any office work. During our visit the property manager seam was on leave, which negatively affected the bird watching experience and overall stay experience.

Had one of the best experience here @oland. Starting from the ambience to the food everything was just great. The journey to the location itself was so beautiful and secluded. In-case you want to chill and have a peaceful experience this is the best place to go.

Loved the stay. Very calm and beautiful place. Highly recommended for people who want to enjoy the beauty of nature.
