Oriental Hotel

The behaviour of the staffs are good. Location is bit far away from main market but the overall experience is great.

We booked the stay at oriental leh from mmt and i want to say it is the best places with best people in leh. We had an amazing stay and the staff is very supportive and caring. My husband got leg injury which led to sudden termination of our trip. But the head person tashi at oriental was very helpful and understanding. He helped us with reaching closest good hospital and we got my husband treatment. Later we had to extend our stay at leh due to same reason and tashi ji cooperated for the same as well. We felt really very special with the treatment that was given here. The food at the hotel is very delicious and tasty. The rooms are extremely clean and contain all facilities. I would recommend this place to everyone who visit leh for getting an amazing stay without cutting the pockets.

This is a very nice hotel. Located at 10 mins distance from leh airport. The garden and rooms of this property are very good. Food is also decent and they have see through kitchen.

Had an excellent stay at orient hotel. Rooms were good and clean. Food was mind blowing. All along with impeccable service. Parking space available for 7-8 cars. Parking can get crowded sometimes.

1. Electric kettle with tea/coffee is not provided 2. Heater not functioning 3. Hot water was a constant issue. I had to seek help multiple times 4. Shaving kit/tooth brush kit not provided, though they gave a razor on request. Manager tashi and other staff were very courteous and helpful. They were very responsive. The hotel is very clean and the location is also very good. Food choice is limited, but quality, quantity of portions and taste is very good.

Very excellent place to stay, staff is very friendly and on top of it food is soooo delicious.

Staff is courteous, ground floor rooms are noisy, food is only vegetarian which was not mentioned anywhere in the booking.

Pros 1. Friendliest staff, will try to fix all your problems 2. Food is very homely 3. Rooms (deluxe) are very beautiful and have mountain views, mornings are beautiful cons 1. Standard rooms are not upto the mark, dark and feel very chilly 2. Place is a little out of town. This can be both a pro and con, love the peace and quiet but no other good restaurant in walkable distance
