Situated at a posh area of Pondi with Neat and clean cosy big room and clean Toilet. Good options are available at complimentary Breakfast with reasonable service level. However the Non veg dishes need improvement in terms of availability, qty, taste and the corresponding rate.

La Grrande Malar facilities, hotel property, room, decor are good, neat and well maintained. The breakfast and overall dining was tasty and worth it. The hotel is adjacent to many well known restaurants and easily walkable to rocky beach. It has parking space and the securiy guards make you park outside if enough space is not available within the hotel basement parking. The only feedback is everything food order, room service took time and the hotel staff could be more receptive. Overall a great stay at reasonable price

There was no parking, I had to park my car outside in sun whole day and night. Room service was pathetic, they come after calling 10 times. Towel was not provided, I asked them 5 times, then they gave. Food service was pathetic. Waate of money, kindly refund my booking amount.

Rooms were average. Can get decent room for cheaper than this. Parking space was very small. Breakfast was bad. First no all items were available and they were bringing up in very small quantity. Taste also not good. I will not recommend this hotel

The service is worst. there was no toilet paper , no bathroom mat. very minimal parking space. even after you asking for anything nobody will respond. Food was also okay okay. if you are going with family to relax i would not recommend this. only good thing I felt was the location and cleanliness.

Real experience at La Grrande Malar, Pondicherry

I would like to breakdown the review into multiple sections. 1. Property Location: Middle of the city and walkable (with-in 1km range) of most of the restaurants, white town, Rock beach sea walk. 2. Parking: I had worst experience in this part as Hotel has “Name sake parking of 3 cars and vehicles like seltos range hardly movable (with good skills). Mostly have to depend on outside parking (road side where lot of bikes move around) and no guarantee of getting parking on the same road where hotel located. Fay time security guard was very lazy and not so helpful. 3. Front Desk: Just fine. Not so welcoming. However, night duty guy was very helpful and proactive. No hesitation to wake up at 5am during my checkout. 4.Room: Executive Room - More space would have been better if you are more than 3 PAX (including kid). Extra bed got at no extra cost. Room is clean n service is good. Bathroom is well equipped with hand showers etc. Blanket was little dirty. 6. Overall: Good accommodation. Think about parking as part of the trip. Auto is very expensive and no uber/ola.
