The location is not facing the sea so you will surely miss out on the sound of sea, but the Jicky's Nest has it own peace and calm. The owner was a nice person and one of the guys at the reception was a football(manchester united fan) so we did end up talking a lot. Food is not available in the Jicky's Nest so you need to make your own arrangements, but it was a superb stay for me and worth the money as I spent a few bucks only.

The location was great, very close to the cliff. Room was clean and 24 hours hot water with a good shower. The restaurant that is related to the Jicky's Nest serves excellent Indian food. The staff is nice and try to help but their English is not so good. Have free bottled water which is unique and nice.

Even though expected an average comfort and level of hygiene, the stay was well maintained and high safety standards were maintained. Absolutely gonna recommend to all my friends. The location of the rooms were just 50mtr from the varakala cliff and the front desk was very helpful and polite.

Stayed here with my friend. Rooms are small but clean. Good for your solo trip. The care taker there is a football fan. A hardcore Manchester United fan. People interested in football can **** your time talking to him Overall I lived the place and it's worth the money

I liked the Jicky's Nest, its good location, peaceful place, surrounded by greenery. We can have our private space and privacy. Good service and behaviour from the staff. You can go for this Jicky's Nest for a good stay at Varkala. Me and my friend really enjoyed it.

The Jicky's Nest is good if you want to save money.. According to price rooms are okay.. Location is little awkward you have to walk through narrow grassy path for going to cliff and also to restaurant..
